Chai Naasto in Bromley

We used to visit this place fairly regularly during pre-covid times and have loved the decor, ambience, food and cocktails.Nostalgia and foodgasm prevailed as we dined there again last week. I'm elated to say that the quality and taste has remained exactly the same. We ordered Chowk ki Tikki and Gunpowder Chicken wings to start with and they were absolutely lip smacking. Mumbai Mirch is a cocktail I never miss when I'm here, and though the quantity seemed a little less than before, it was as delicious. The Keema pau slider was outstanding as well.Can't wait to be back here again. I do wish that as things return back to normal, Pav Bhaaji is added back to the menu.

If u haven’t been to Chai Nasto u missing out BIG time! The BEST Indian food hands down. Polite and friendly staff plus the infusion of flavours are second to none! Chai NASTO to the world!

Purchased food through Deliveroo however, food came all spilt. The food was not even wrapped individually and the tubs all opened as the food was being delivered to us. Ordered meat and Vegan food which by knowledge should be put into deprecate bags but was all in the same bag so for someone who’s vegan this would be a big no no. Called the restaurant who did apologise but had the food been wrapped and also put into separate bags then maybe the food may have been delivered correctly. The Restaurant should have offered a form of gesture.

Overpriced, small portions, clueless young staff not trained properly. It's got the style but that's it.Had to call someone over to get our order taken to start, staff not aware or bored, the rice didn't come out, then was brought out later in a takeaway bag .. erm hello! we're eating in.Food was cleared off the table when we had barely not even finished. Owners - train your staff please.Next time will support more authentic Indian restaurants, better value and better service.

Went to Chai Naasto after a long time but quite disappointed with the food and the portion size this time. None of the dishes left me wanting to come back. It’s a shame because this place used to be really good.

Good environment, small portions, average taste, nothing for small kids.Chai - didn't like it.Suggestion- add more veggie options. The chat section is incomplete without sev papdi chat and bhelpuri.

Such incredible food at this hidden gem in Beckenham. Wonderful service, funky decor and the food is next level for flavour and originality. I was hugely impressed and will be back very soon to try other delicacies on the menu.Oh and what a BANGING playlist! Definitely party vibes in this place.

Absolutely delicious Indian Street food tapas type portions.Cocktails were delish too!Friendly, polite & hard working staff.

Firstly, the food tastes great. No complaintsSècondly,the owner Nimesh is a fantastic host. He makes sure each customer is comfortable even when the weather is 3degrees, we could barely feel the cold due to the outdoor heaters. Definitely the place to go for a good Indian appetite
