Lovely food, great service. A tad noisy when they drop empty bottles into the bin behind the counter! Not too expensive either.

First time visiting this Cote and it will most likely be my last.We were greeted by a French waiter who promptly sat us down at a table and took our order very quickly but unfortunately it went downhill from there.I ordered the Fillet Noir and my partner ordered a fish stew. We decided to get truffle chips and creamed spinach as sides but it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive! Annoyingly, the kitchen staff managed to mess up my dish despite waiting so long! The waiters had 0 clue that my dish contained potato gratin and also tried to overcharge me for this as a side when it was included within the dish as per the menu...When my dish was corrected , I found the fillet steak to taste more like rump and not very tender but the sauce and vegetables were nice. I appreciate the waitress took off my dish from the bill and gave a slight discount but the service before our food arrived was non-existent. We had multiple different waitresses and didn't feel like anyone was responsible. Staff were very slow.Don't come here if you're in a rush! The slow service seems to be a habit of this branch and also food was OK - not mind blowing or exceptional for a chain restaurant. Giggling squid was next door and a million times better.

Cote HAVE REMOVED BUTTER from all of their restaurants! This morning we requested butter with our toast at breakfast and were given a tasteless, soft spread that was even worse than margarine. When we asked for the butter, they have always had, we were told that Cote now only have a ‘vegan butter’ to ‘provide more options’. THIS DOES NOT PROVIDE more options, this removes options for the majority of society who are non-vegan. I would be fully supportive of ADDING vegan butter to the menu as this does offer more variety and is less restrictive to non-dairy and vegan patrons but removing butter, and therefor removing an option the majority would preference, is outrageous. We have eaten breakfast at Cote most weeks for years but will not be returning unless this decision is reversed.

Very enjoyable lunch at Cote Brasserie- Chislehurst. Criapy Duck salad was a little disappointing but main course of a minute steak, fries with extra green beans was delicious. Service attentive without any pressure and finished with an excellent French "old fashioned. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here although the service was a bit slow. Delicious mushroom vol au vent and tasty fish stew.

The food is fantastic as always. We were there at lunchtime today and really enjoyed our meals. Did was prepared at a reasonable pace. The tables for two are four are placed pretty close to each other so some may find that it does lack a bit of privacy. The only criticism is there were tables available in other parts of the restaurant where it less busy. So, we could have had more privacy if they did give us another table on the other side. There is paid parking available on the High Street. You can pay using the Ringo app. That's pretty useful if you need to extend your parking session (if you decide to stay for dessert, which we did. 😀)
