This was such a treat. Excellent food, and a really nice team working there too. Can definitely recommend the halloumi fries, any of the steaks. The cauliflower cheese was a bit runny but my god did it taste good.

We held our wedding in their event room (The Barn) and it went perfectly! Sejal helped us create the perfect vision for the day, and throughout planning was incredibly helpful in getting all the details right giving us tons of suggestions about how we could make it even better. On the day, the service was amazing and was commented on by all our guests about how great they were!Genuinely so happy with how everything went, from the atmosphere to incredible service to delicious food, thank you so much to their whole team!

Had a great dinner, the steak was amazing, would highly recommend. Really accommodating service and attentive to the needs of my whole family including the children. Made to feel very welcome by Joe and the team - service ran incredibly smoothly. We will be back for sure!

Lovely restaurant with delicious cocktails. Friendly staff and nice vibe. Especially liked the watermelon martini and mojito. We’ll be back! 🍸😋

Had a lovely roast dinner, the portion wasn't big BUT it was really good quality and each mouthful was delicious. I'm definitely returning here

Absolutely outstanding. Great service from start to finish. The suggestions of meal choice were welcomed and certainly lived upto it. Great fresh flavours and perfect cooking.

I used to be a regular visitor to this restaurant, however around 5 years ago I stopped eating here for 3 years after a few negative experiences with the food and observing poor management towards the waiting staff. I'm pleased to say that they now are of a higher standard and the food and ambience is back where I remember it used to be. We have visited 4 times in 2021/ 2022 and each time we have had good food, attentive service and the staff seem happier.I would recommend you book in advance for 90-120 minutes to enjoy a 3 course meal at any time of the week. Sunday roast dinners are well done, no matter what time you arrive on the day and the drinks menu is extensive. The staff will recommend drinks to go with your meals should you require and they have always made great recommendations for us. The price range is typical for the area, I believe you do get what you pay for in regards to higher quality alcohol, meats, cheeses, nice dressings and accompaniments to meals. You would look at around £15-£18 for a Sunday roast dinner or main meal, the steak in the pictures was one of their specials on the day and cost £65 (T-Bone). The cocktails will be around £9-£11 and dessert is around £7.If it is your first time and you want to try what they are best at, I would recommend that you go for a steak. The chateaubriand is a good option, however equally so are some of the cheaper cuts (they can also recommend the cut around how well cooked you enjoy your steak). The beef or 'bit of everything' mix is a good option for the Sunday roast dinner. Desserts are worth leaving a bit of room for, however they do fresh mint tea , dessert cocktails / wines and nice coffees.

Have been multiple times and in the last couple of visits I've been so impressed I wanted to right this review. The food, music and comfort are all very good and on their own would merit a good review, but the service was what has really impressed me. I went with my baby daughter, partner, parents and sister, all of whom required/requested something other than the basic order for the waiter to deal with. He anticipated needs, remembered requests and was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We have been served by 3 different people over the last 3 visits and they were all very good. Thanks C&P

First time dining here but definitely not the last. Warm and friendly family setting with great service and excellent food. Best restaurant south of the Thames.
