Holwood Farm Coffee Shop in Bromley

This is not a farm shop. It is a modern up-market deli, bringing together "gourmet" and posh/high-end brands and products reminiscent of the St. Michael's label plus a cheese counter of all the big names around the country. I noticed no local products, cheese or otherwise, although there is a small butcher's counter of prepacked sealed meats that could have come from anywhere, I didn't ask but didn't notice any signs telling us. Most of the brand names can be bought cheaper at Waitrose or M&S (but no longer under St. Michael!) or of course online, and some are sold by Sainsbury and Tesco.Good quality fayre but very expensive and no place to go if you expect to save the environment and local economy by buying actual local farm produce.

Amazing fresh produce everything looked so good. Customer service really good. We will be back. Also they have the best fish monger shop everything looked so fresh . We were on a long walk and stumbled across it can't waitvyo go back in the car and stock up.

Enjoyed seating outside in the shop's cafe and the falafel salad was really good! Good selection of cakes as well. Just a shame only one of them was gluten free though...

The food undercook and sent to the wrong table even though they have numbers on the tables and to add on to that the wait was at least half an hour. The waiters were ok but could use a bit more of their common sense. Will not recommend and will not be visiting again.

The new garden area is beautifully done with great views and a brand new cabin style place to order food and beverages. I was shocked at the price of 2 sausage sandwiches and a couple of hot drinks and won't return at those prices any time soon.

Excellent lunch of fishcake with salad. Homemade burgers, paninis, sandwiches and soup available. Huge pieces of cake with good selection. Eat in or outside. There are fairly steep stairs to the restaurant from the well stocked but pricey farm shop. No cash payments..set afternoon tea available.

Had afternoon tea here today…delicious…and so much food…took some home with us.All washed down with tea, coffee and Prosecco. Then went shopping in their shop.Lovely, friendly staff as always 😊

Had to wait over half an hour for soup, and then it wasn't the one I ordered!Feel we should have been told there was to be a significant delay when we ordered if there was a problem. We had to chase our order twice. Other customers who came in after us were being served before us. We hadn't planned that we would be at the cafe 1.5 hours for a simple lunch.

Went in there Friday, bought some black pudding, sausages, steak, beef rib, and chicken.Chicken was dated use by 6/12/21, took out the packaging this morning smelt off, the short beef ribs was also off with a use by date of 8/12/21cooked the chicken even though it smelt bad this morning 5/12/21…Tasted it nearly threw up, I will happily add pictures later on to prove this isnt a fake review.I believe they are using out of date meat, repackaging it and sticking a new date on… stay clear if you don’t want to get ill with salmonella or other disease… wasted my money here won’t be returning…The chicken smelt like rancid rotten fish, it all had to be thrownAlso keeping this for record incase I do become ill and can take action against this business
