Jolpai Indian Cuisine in Bromley

The portions are getting smaller and smaller. 6 or 7 small pieces of chicken in a sauce. Rice is small. Not as good as it used to be. Go here if you like hunting for any meat or vegetables in your sauce.

Good food reasonably priced. Take your own bottle. Great service.

Tastiest meal I’ve had in years! I must have ordered too much, because it served as a meal for Saturday night, as well as Sunday breakfast, lunch and tea. Great service. Great cooks.

Alas this goes on the 'no buy' list. I can't say anything good about the meal really except that the rice was well cooked. We ordered delivery, it was late and lukewarm. The mutter paneer was like nothing I've ever seen, it looked like peas in watery cheese sauce! With 4 small pieces of paneer. This is not mutter paneer, and I've eaten plenty of it. Sag aloo bland, and the jalfrezi was spicy but with no flavour. Greasy, stodgy bhajis also with no flavour. I'm really sad because we went a whole month without takeout due to budget constraints, and then got this!

It was our first takeaway here. We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all watery and bland. The nan bread & poppadoms were ok. Maybe we were just unlucky, as we ordered on the good reviews they had previously received. We were very disappointed!

This Indian take away is one of the best around the Grove Park/Mottingham area. They are always obliging if you want a little alteration to a dish and the delivery is always on time and hot. I would definitely recommend

Take away tonight was awful, cold, hardly no chicken in the currys. Mixed starters tough as old boots. We left most of it and binned it. Gutted as we have ate in loads of times and had lovely meals.

Something has gone wrong. From raving about Jolpai I am struggling to eat a tasteless Lamb Biriyani and vegetable curry that both belong in the bin. Terribly disappointed 👎👎👎 Bring back your excellence this evening's food is abysmal.

Went to this restaurant for my friends birthday and was extremely satisfied! The staff went above and beyond and truly exceeded all our expectations! Additionally the food was exceptionally tasty and wonderfully presented! Truly a wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend enough! Looking forward to returning soon!
