Maria's Coffee Sandwich Bar in Bromley

Went to Marias for the first time today with my girls and our friend. The owners were so lovely and so welcoming to my daughters. My youngest wanted to practice her Spanish and Maria entertained her and chatted with her. Lovely food and a lovely couple. Can't wait to go back 💜

Felt very discriminated by the owners, we received very bad & rude service for no reason what so ever, may be because we are Indian Sikh and we both wore our turbans and they did not like us sitting in their cafe. Other customers they greeted & treated very nicely and not us.

Aldo and Maria are really friendly people and we always feel so welcomed by them. The food is lovely with a great choice and the homemade desserts are delicious. It's a lovely place to meet up with friends for a bite to eat.

LOVE the owners!... they really make u feel like family... a warm and welcoming atmosphere, good food, reasonable price. They never forget a face, which is what makes u feel appreciated. My other half has never liked a cafe before this, took him there one day, and he's the one always wanting to go for breakfast lol. I WILL always recommend.

Italian family run cafe with a wide selection of meals, snacks and drinks. Situated on busy High Street. You can book. Personal friendly service, home prepared and cooked for the most part. Gets busy, not bad value either, you are nor rushed

Went into Maria’s as we normally do on a Saturday .. was not particularly busy but we waited ages .. 15 minsOrdered two coffees.. fine .. then the lady came over and asked if we were eating today… when we said no .. we’re asked to leave as if you don’t eat you cannot only have coffee .. was really surprised .. sometimes we eat sometimes we don’t.. I always want to support local small businesses however I have never been in a costa and been refused service .. other customers were surprised that we were asked to leave .. Marias is not cheap even for coffee.. will never go there again. I appreciate business needs to make a living however tables were empty.

Family run restaurant with wonderful home made food. Always a warm welcome here. Can thoroughly recommend.

Went here as thought we would try Beckenham for breakfast. Small cafe with a lovely friendly couple running it. Food very nice and especially the sausage ! We will be going back!

I discovered this gem during lockdown, having takeaways and eating outside once guidelines allowed. The food is very good quality and freshly made, with Maria and Aldo giving such a great friendly service which is welcoming and inspires you without hesitation to return again and again. YOU won't be disappointed. :)

A lovely little gem on the High Street and a great place to get some quick food if you don't feel like visiting a chain restaurant. The two owners are lovely and friendly, and the sandwiches are delicious with a great variety to choose from on the menu. Would definitely recommend for a quicker and cheaper option on the High Street.
