A great local Indian restaurant. There are plenty of options to choose from and the menu is updated and changed fairly often. Staff are friendly and the food is always excellent (fairly priced too!)

Food is nice but price and value is extortionate. Paid Β£50 for 3 curries and 3 naans. The least they could do is add some free popadoms and dips with orders. nice but would not get again.

Some of the most friendly people ive had the opportunity to meet. Incredible service with recommendations on our vegan choices. Great portion size and lots of flavour. Thank you for a lovely evening visit.

Had bad tummy on my 1st vist, at the cost of 85Β£, The food was nice but bit low in quatity(portion), so! not a great value for money.I may try again, but I am not sure. I am bit disapointed.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The menu is a welcome change from the norm with an abundance of authentic and interesting Indian dishes. The food is delicious and the service is great too!

Amazing food and great care taken by the staff. We tried many of the dishes they offer and loved everything. Highly recommend! We have been there twice in a many weeks!

The food was quite nice but not the usual choice that i am used to in an indian restaurant. We had a shock when the bill arrived, it way too expensive for what we had and i object to service charge being included. We will not be returning. Lessons learned, will definately check out prices in future when eating out!

The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. The decor is modern and fresh. The staff were friendly and polite. My only criticism was, on the day I was there it was almost as cold inside as it was outside, I had to sit with my coat on. Hopefully, on my next visit, they will have the heating on. I will definitely be going back and have recommended MD to my colleagues and friends.

Lovely local restaurant. Nice service and lovely staff.Good vegetarian starters (beetroot cutlet, paneer shashlik, chaat samosa).Main a bit disappointing. Masala dosa not crispy. Sambar made of mainly tomatoes. Chicken byriani is tasty but again a bit too much tomato based.Children chicken nugget are definitely a no go (too rough). Lassi mango had a bitter/sour taste (wondering if the milk or ice cream was off). Will go back to try the tasting menu.

Having visited numerous Indian restaurants over the years, this one definitely stands out. It stands out because it chooses to do things differently and it really pays off.The food tastes delicious and fragrant and it's obvious that the kitchen uses only the best and freshest ingredients. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about the menu and do their best to assist with any questions you have. Every time I have visited, I found them to be attentive, professional and welcoming. Also, if you have a special occasion, let them know and they may surprise you with a birthday pudding! The Jackfruit curry was impressive and filling. The vegetarian platter a great selection and taster. The poppadom basket differs from the norm as do the chutneys that accompany. The paneer starter is delicious as is the okra! The artichoke starter and the liquid explosion are tantalising to the taste buds. The thing I love the most though is their fragrant, fluffy rice.If you have just been out drinking and then want to wash it down with a curry, this is not the place. The food here is tasty but delicate and I like to try something new on each visit because I've never been disappointed.
