Often come here for a breakfast with a friend! Lovely spot with lots of options and a great array of drinks. They especially have some lovely teas. There’s lots of seating and there is a outside area which looks very nice. Portions are a little small for the price but the food is very tasty.

Full English Breakfast, lacking items to make it full and for the price would have expected more than one overcooked egg and one sausage and part burnt toast.Scott's burger with cheese was very basic for the price, not sure what makes it Scott's as the burger itself were two half pounders with a bit of cheese in the middle, less than average burger patties with okay cheese. No special seasoning flavour to differentiate it from what you'd find at a travellers funfair. The Brioche bun itself was not proportionate to the burger patties as it was way too small. Smaller thicker burger patties needed or a larger bun. Chips were an ok standard but side salad was made to be left on the side.Fresh orange juice was not available and the latte was ok.BBQ sauce had a layer of dust on it with use by date rubbed off the lid, very much doubt it should still be in circulation.

Always a lovely experience. Great menu, friendly staff and so welcoming for kids. Has a beautiful terrace at the rear where you can eat. One of my absolute favourite places to take friends!

On a positive note the cafe is furnished to a high standard and the service was good. We sat in the garden and had two coffees and a cake. My husband was tempted by the lovely display of cakes on offer but was so disappointed when he got his slither. It looked so much better than it tasted, he said it felt gritty and he didn't finish it. Definitely not worth ÂŁ4.

Love, love, love Scotts kitchen. The food is great & the service is fantastic, nothing is too much to ask. This visit I tried The Stack & I loved it. Several pancakes, streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage & maple syrup. Don't just put the syrup over the pancakes, Put it on the sausage & bacon too, game changer.Previously I've tried the smashed avacado on sourdough toast with streaky bacon which was also delicious.

Scotts outright rudely refused my request for a vegan meal to go on the menu! Considering that animal agriculture is high on the list of climate change causes I believe this to be selfish and irresponsible! How bad does climate change have to get before the owner takes some responsibility for the damage he's doing to our planet?
