Shortlands Tavern in Bromley

Addition to previous review when i only had a pint. Updated to 5 stars! Great selection of beers once again. Casks were lovely. Finally got around to eating here. Five of us ate and the food was excellent. Pork belly was fabulous! My son had pizza which he really enjoyed. Only one issue was with my wifes meal(shame as it was her birthday!). However, the manager was extremely understanding and receptive and offered her a complimentary drink and dessert to make up for it. Really appreciated. Great customer service! Will definitely eat here again. Recommended.

This is a pub with a nice interior and great beer garden. A reasonable selection of ales when I was in there but not as good as it used to have and now a bit pricey. I wouldn’t order the food there. I had a Sunday roast and was unquestionably the worst I’ve had on a cost-to-quality ratio.

I had my birthday table booked there , initially I was really upset as they messed up with my booking, I even wanted to change the pub last minute, moreover couldn’t sleep as I had more people invited than the table they gave me but when I truned up they gave us enough tables and the staff was just amazing, super fast.Food is lovely too, my daughters just love their pizza. The outdoor place is a hidden gem.

Shame that we've only just found this pub after living in Beckenham for four years. Beautiful pub garden with lots of seating, heat lamps, rugs and cushions. Plenty of good beer options, staff were excellent and the food was lovely (you can usually tell by how many people are eating on the night). Pizza last night but looking to work our way through the menu in future!

We had a lovely lunch in the conservatory yesterday! Even though we were a large group, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! We'll definitely return. Particularly looking forward to sitting in your garden area.

Two weeks running same issue we booked table as we wanted a meal .both times no table for us when we got there . Second time had to sit in chilly garden for over hour until table became available , Pizza was great and good value for money, some good ales .staff are helpful but must sort out the reserving tables mess ups

Sadly the Timothy Taylor, which was great, ran out last night - but as always really enjoyed the quiz night. Pizzas were very popular and rightly so - excellent.

Excellent selection of draft lagers I sat in the beer garden i felt welcome and was a very friendly atmosphere. Some of the food that was brought out to the tables looked amazing will be returning very soon

Best pub in Beckenham/Shortlands. Amazing cozy ambience, great pub kitchen + pizza menu. The beer garden is very good! Great selection of drinks, very nice staff and to top it all is dog friendly. I can't recommend it enough.

Great local pub!Feels like a local and a great atmosphere as soon as you walk in.Feels cosy in the winter and for the summer they have a large beer garden which is a real sun trap.The do a full menu and also have I pizza over which is great for stopping in for a quick bite to eat and a pint!
