Ordered a take out from Nam Thai this evening , food very good ……. They want ID to deliver the food ! Why on earth would you need ID for a food delivery that’s already been paid for very strange policy

On line order delivered on time. Items were well packed to avoid spillage and in a sensible order. Dishes were marked. The food was excellent - the beef in the curry was in very tender chunks, quite different from what you normally get with Chinese cuisine. The vegetables were well (i.e. not too much) cooked. Overall, a great meal.

I can't tell whats more disappointing. Our government or this restaurant? Many items were missing and the items we did recieve were very disappointing. Who knew even after covid we could recieve such tastless meals. Our attempt to find a decent takeaway continues.

Dined in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and never felt rushed in any way. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back soon and would recommend.

Excellent meal out on a Friday night! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was also very good, and the staff were very attentive despite it being quite busy (some people were turned away because they didn’t have a booking) - we were even offered a discount for the ‘long wait’ between our starter and main, however we didn’t think it was particularly long and certainly were not bothered by it! Very sweet touch none the less. Thank you for a lovely evening 😊

We went for Saturday lunch, it was fantastic. Delicious, authentic food, and the set menu is great value. We will definitely be back.

Small portions + Exorbitantly priced regular Thai food. Ordered through Deliveroo for £54 and. were very disappointed. with. the portions and oil. The sea bass pad cha £16.95 was soaked in oil and we had to bin it as it was totally inedible. The stir fry mixed vegetables in. oyster sauce costing £7.50 was a thin layer of veggies at the bottom of the takeaway box which when weighed was approx 130 gm veggies in 1/4 cup. of sauce. Eventually ended up making sandwiches for the family.

This review is purely based on our takeaway experience. Ordering online and collection with a 20% discount, there is an option for Deliveroo to deliver if required. Cash or contactless methods of payment accepted.There is a contrast of ok, acceptable and poor with relation to the dishes we ordered. The coconut and sticky rice were good! Pad Thai Noodles with prawns were good although the £9.95 seemed exuberant. The prawn toast was small, fairly hard and quite oily. Crispy soft-shell crab starter was quite lacklustre. Chilli squid was lovely, tempura prawns were good, stir fried prawn with oyster sauce also good.The service staff were very polite and even included a free bag of spicy prawn crackers.Slightly disappointed overall.
