Daughter hired a Pod in the gardens seats 8 people each pod is themed and decorated ours was italian themed and was lovely. Downside service extremely slow and food wasn't very nice not a lot of choice if you're a group booking. You don't get the usual menu don't order the chicken kiev mine came up burnt and dry as a bone def no garlic butter. Food quite pricey for what you get.

I visit this pub regularly because of its welcoming atmosphere, good selection of drinks and the loveliest, friendliest staff you could ever meet. I haven't eaten there yet but plan to remedy that soon as I've heard very good reports of the food.

I visited this restaurant today for the first time, upon reading what seems to be very good previous reviews and thought upon reading them that this place sounded lovely to visit and was very local so seemed ideal. However sadly upon arrival the welcome from the staff was cold and unfriendly. The table was very cramped in a corner, had to result in moving one chair to the end of the table as no space to get in next to the other tables behind. The drinks order took a while to come and had forgot the jug of water we asked for. The menu was very limited, and for what seemed to be on the face of it a family friendly place the children's menu was extremely poor. No sides of beans or peas with any children's meal. When we asked the very rude waitress if we could pay extra for some peas or something this seemed to be impossible of them to manage to do and were most unhelpful. Drinks and food weren't served in a friendly manner, it felt very unwelcoming the whole experience. Considering our bill for just mains and drinks was over £150 I expected a better service and better priced roasts and children's menu. Very disappointing experience.

We had a lovely meal in one of the pods. Food was amazing, and the portions were big! Service was excellent too. Would highly recommend - also great value for money.

Went here for lunch on Monday. It was great food.To start we had the soup and pigeon Wellington which were very tasty and well seasoned. For mains we had the buffalo chicken burger and steak. Steak was very tender and burger huge and tasty. Struggled with room for desert so just had a brulee each and I wanted another straight after!Everything is great. Highly recommended trying this place out!!!

Hired out one of the pods on Saturday 23rd October and what a shambles!!! The pod itself was beautiful, had a Bluetooth speaker and a heater and was very pretty couldn't fault the pod itself. The service! Well what can I say the waitresses didn't have a clue what she was doing had to keep repeating what we wanted, bearing in mind there was only 4 of us. Waited 45 mins for two bread board starters when it eventually came we only got one and then it took them another 15 mins to bring the second. Then waited another 35 mins for mains and they only brought 3 out of 4 out and forgotten an extra portion of chips we had ordered, when I asked where the 4th main was they was shocked like I hadn't ordered it then had to wait for another 20 mins for them todo it by then all the others had HALF finished there meal. All the food was rubbish and most of it left the last meal they brought out was mine and I didnt eat any as it tasted terrible.Ended up not paying for any food just our drinks. In all we was there 2 hours and 20 mins and most of us walked out hungry as we hadn't eaten. Will never go back...looks pretty but is terrible!!! And im not just one of those moaners that finds faults with anything when I go out.

We rented out one of their pods and had an amazing little date. My wife was very pregnant and we reached out to them before hand to share our concerns with contact (covid) and they were so accommodating. We’ve been trying our best to keep baby safe before he’s born and we couldn’t have felt safer there. Great service and amazing food!

Had a meal in one of the dinning pods, what a lovely experience. The pod was decorated really nice plenty of room for the five of us plus baby. Had a heater which was nice and warm you would not have known you were out side. Food was delicious plus good value for money and the waitress extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

Had lunch here with the family on the summer bank holiday, so the Sunday roast menu was available. The food was really nice and the team were really accommodating, giving us extra spoons and plates for my little one to play with whilst waiting for the food to arrive. We are indoors in the dining area, however there is a large outdoor space to eat as well, which includes dining pods which look lovely.Really enjoyed it here and will be going back.

Had a meal in one of the outdoor pods and really couldn't fault it! The pods are stunning, every meal came out perfect and the staff were very friendly and attentive! Couldn't really speak more highly of it! will definitely be returning.
