Best Indian restaurant we've had food from in Beckenham/Bromley/Croydon. The chefs are happy to adapt orders and make food how desired.

·

No nonsense curry emporium. A well established business serving good food.

·

Called to make an order at 10.30pm. Business closes at 11.30 pm. Reception asks the driver if he will deliver to my postcode (even though I have ordered before) and reception came back to the phone and lied and said the driver left to go home already. ( I speak bengali so unlucky for getting caught. Bad business.

Lovely curry our favourite in beckenham Curry cottage only has a three out of five food standards agency rating, dated March 2019.

Great service...lovely food and everything you'd expect from a good local curry house. Looking forward to coming back next I'm in Beckenham.

In the savage battlefield of Indian cuisine in London, one restaurant stands triumphantly on the piled corpses of its rivals. One restaurant holds aloft the touch that will set fire to your mouth, your loins and your heart. That restaurant is Curry Cottage and its has been an honour to dine here!

I always get a very , very good Chicken Dhansak and a Prawn Puri from here. Biryani can be a bit hit and miss.Usually get a takeaway, only dined in once but was so drunk I cant remember.

Awful food. Every single dish we ordered tasted the same. No atmosphere, the place looks depressing. It was late and it was the nearest place we could have something to eat. The place didn't look warm and inviting. Could get better curry from your local Sainsbury's.

Been there a lot for food and each visit is great. Food is delicious, portions are just perfect. We always order the main dish and rice and often we have to take it away! Staff is really nice, welcoming and helpful. Service is 5 star, a lot of attention is given to you. Its a small old restuarant that had been in the area for decades, if you wnat to havbe a nice indian food that has a home feel then this place is for you.

My first visit tonight. I found the young man at first to be very rude! When I answered back, the waiter continued to be sacramental. My boyfriend wanted to leave where I had to apologise for my mouth on his behaviour! Food however was exquisite! Would of left better tip. Even though he changed his temperament.!
