The Five Bells in Bromley

Very polite stuff and a very lovely little pub. I found this little pub when I was out on one of my motorcycle rides.

A proper village pub run by fantastic people at the heart of Chelsfield. Their food is delicious and their welcome genuine. The bell ringers still drink there as they have done for centuries, although there are now 8 bells in the belfry of St Martin's!

Lovely warm and friendly pub staff made us feel really welcome from the moment we stepped in. Extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for meals on the menu.Food was great and will definitely be going back.

Went for Sunday roast with our two young children. They had roast gammon which they demolished. My wife and I had roast lamb which was absolutely delicious

Great garden. Food reasonably good and a fair price. Staff very friendly. Would I go again? Definitely! (Will I? Probably not because I live miles away.)Only negative: I wasn't comfortable that they physically took my credit card for the duration of my stay, because I was eating in the garden. They politely and professionally explained their policy but I would suggest this is explained in writing on the menu. First time that's happened to me. I guess it's a sign of the times!

Nice meal, good beer with friendly sevice. Limited lunchtime menu but that could have been linked to the restaurant just opening up after months of lockdown. An enjoyable time was had by all, especially all meeting up after so long. Good job The Five Bells.
