Been my local for more years than I care to remember... A real local with real people and a good atmosphereWith live music events, Thai food on Tuesdays, "Open The Box" on Thursdays amongst other things, there's always something to enjoy for all ages every evening... and it's still my local π

Had a great night on my first visit. Made to feel really welcome by the staff. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, some live entertainment going on, a typical old style pub. Apparently they do a tasty Sunday roast. I'm sure I'll get to try that in the near future.

We went on a quiet night but the pub still had a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Very clean and fresh flowers on the tables and around the pub. Lovely detail showing real attention to detail. AND on one night genuine Sicilian pizza s served and cooked by a Sicilian local. Can't wait to go back and taste! Just great.

Friendly staff and management. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Regular events eg live music, monthly quiz etc. Excellent food in the form of freshly made pizza. Well run venture by Mike & Val who are a most welcoming couple. .Lovely lady Sam behind the bar. Also garden area at the back.

Love this place. It's quaint with a lot of character. It could be described as a bit hole-in-the-wall, but that wouldn't quite do it justice.Recently (August 2018) ownership changed and with it came some nice additions and changes. Such as karaoke nights, music performances etc on the weekends.Crowd is casual and local; everyone is very friendly and as a newcomer felt very welcomed.Staff is very attentive and always carry an awesome attitude. Love this place.
