Really lovely atmosphere. Wonderful food. Service is a bit slow but that's part of the relaxed feel.

Great place. Been here a number of times. Started coming just as lockdown finished the first time. Little gem of a place. Hidden away so has to be worth going. Great food. Good beer. Nice staff. Big place and nice big beer garden out the back too. Nice feel to the place and has a great crackling wood fire as you walk in, in the bar gives it a nice old pub feel. Recommend this place very much. Its tucked away but its worth it.

Lovely food, but be prepared to wait a good while for your food, even if you have booked. Very busy at weekends but they do have lovely over worked staff.

Lovely Sunday roast lunch. Large portions. Beef and chicken very tasty. Children's roast meal was really good value also.Young lady staff were very pleasant and attentive.Chef came out to see if we were happy.Looking forward to going back when the weather's better so we can sit outside where there is a great play area for kids and barbecue.Nice pint of Guinness.

They managed to book 6 of us in at very short notice.Manger on site was excellent, warm and welcoming, all staff attentive without being smothered.Limited menu on a Sunday but the pub food was excellent, everyone was happy with their dishes.A lovely rustic pub not a standard homogenized gastro pub.

Phoned up at 11am and booked a table for 5-30pm, arrived at 5-25 SFO wasn't late , shown to our table where we sat for half an hour, when I asked about our food we was told our dinner had been given to someone else and the kitchen was now shut, so we had to go off and find another restaurant that could accommodate us at short notice, luckily we did and had a fabulous meal .So think twice before eating at the .

Lovely old pub in a quiet location with ample parking. I had a tasty chicken and mushroom pie with mash and veggies. It was a big meal and very well priced. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Biggin Hill's Best pub in my opinion. Great atmosphere and good selection of wines. It offers a small but classic Sunday menu which delivers 100% on flavour. The Sunday roast beef was the most amazingly flavoursome roast I've ever had outside of my own kitchen. The gravy was absolutely delicious, the beef tasty and tender. The veg was cooked to perfection and the roasties and Yorkshire were wonderful. I genuinely didn't want the meal to end. Furthermore, the walnut pudding, toffee sauce and custard left me feeling happy and content. This beautiful pub tucked away down Jail lane is a treasure of a find that I would urge you to experience.

I remember 20 or 30 years ago it had so much atmosphere. But I felt for it had gone. Staff were friendly enough. Maybe it would have been better on a busier day.
