A not-gentrified pub! Nice. Staff v friendly. I like that the partition between the two bars has been removed, it feels much more open as a result.

Lovely little community pub friendly staff and customers, good service, good price dog friendly small garden at the back and your always made welcome every visit.

It's just a down to earth local pub. Always people to talk to, and they allow dogs inside. Sunday roast is amazing, and their lunch specials are great value! Pub quiz at about 7pm Sundays is always fun with a few friends.

Could not have had a better welcome: full eye contact and a big smile from the Lady behind the bar, so obliging and friendly, she even offered to carry my pint to a table because of my injured hands. A splendid choice of hand-pulled beers on offer and the beefburger with dressing was spot on. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars. I will be back.
