The Railway Tavern in Bromley

Friendly local pub. Different selection of taps than most, which is a refreshing change. Food always looks good - but not partaken myself. Bar staff know what they're doing.

Sunday night, open mic, this is what pubs needs. Had a great night listening to everything from music to poetry, a proper open mic. Thank you

Excellent manager, brilliant staff,not very happy with the cartel who own it,when it comes down to it,they are more interested in the development side of their business than the actual running of pubs,when they want to focus on that side they are extremely good at it

The Railway has a relaxed charm. Less staid or copper piped than other Bromley venues, and a refuge from the shot drinkers in Spoons

Beautiful old pub full of atmosphere and different areas to enjoy your drink. Nice music in the background. Very clean. Two young barmen served us. Very professional and welcoming. And there were quite a few customers even though we went on a Monday evening. So nice to go to a pub in Bromley frequented by locals young and middle aged with no loud mouthed young girls and men. We are really fed up with the amount of swearing and attention seeking people found in many of the pubs near the High Street. Looking forward to the live music .

The Railway hosted my aunt's wake this week. We arrived almost an hour early before the pub was meant to open and with little warning but they were so accommodating and let all the guests in on arrival. Throughout the wake the staff went above and beyond to look after everyone. Even down to checking about appropriate music and asking if we wanted to play anything, warming up my 1 year olds dinner.. just couldn't have asked for any more. Particular thanks to Aaron, he was so thoughtful and attentive to all our needs and requests, even thought of things we hadn't thought of and made a difficult and sad day end the best it could. Thank you very much to Aaron and the rest of the staff.

I love this place. I came here during xmas for a little respite and staff are always friendly and approachable. Came in for a Sunday roast and the pork belly both are cooked well, great roast potatoes, one of the largest Yorkshire puddings I have had in ages and great veg with gravy. Also had the apple crumble with custard and chocolate pear tart, both fresh tasting and yummy. One if the best pub meals I have ever had for a Sunday roast great service and very nice decor
