Lovely food , friendly people will defo be back

Fantastic setting for a Father's Day roast dinner. Got a reservation (quite last minute to be fair) and when we arrived everything went smoothly. Taken to our table and offered drinks etc. Menu was varied (although it's a massive shame they dont do breakfasts/brunch!). I had the Roast Beef with Yorkshire's and it was great. Also had the homemade apple pie and custard (gobbled it up before I could take a pic though).

We vidit yesterday on fathers day,it was 8 if usWe had roast dinner with all trimmings it was lovely and tender,generous portions and verry tasty.There desserts looked and tasted yummy to😋I would definitely go back again x

Went there for a wake after a funeral, lovely place, nice attentive staff, lots of room for everyone to mingle, beautiful venue

We went to walk on the parke near by ,so after one hour walking we went to this bar (Sidney) for a drinks with meal amazing place plenty of room very tydi and clean the staff are very friendly and helpful, we did enjoyed strong recommendation 😀

Very crowded on a Friday lunchtime (I think there was a funeral wake there as well as a group which I took to be walkers/ramblers) but they still managed to squeeze us in without a reservation. Food and drink both rather expensive (£4.50 for a pint of bitter, £13.95 for fish and chips) but the food was delicious and large portions. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good location for a walk before or after visit.

Quaint pub. Too many TV screens though clearly it caters for sport rather than a quiet girls drink. But nice food and space

Lovely pub with a mixture of classic and newer seating areas with a lovely garden aswell. A perfect visit after a long walk in the area!

We had birthday and baby gender reveal at their function room. All guests were happy with the foods and served by lovely staffs. Highly recommended 👍

Good quality traditional pub. Serving a decent pint of lager and nice food. Staff always pleasant and professional. Currently have a marquee in garden to help assist outside dining, pub is fully open now.Normally parking not a problem.
