Toby Carvery in Bromley

Excellent lunch today. Food & staff brilliant. Thank you to our waitress who ran after us after my husband forgot his bag. Really enjoyed ourselves, & no washing up.!

I had a really good time there. The person who served us was lovely. She was very friendly & helpful & nothing was too much trouble. She is an asset to the company. The food was really nice. The person serving the carvery was really nice. I will be coming back again.

The food has completely fell off since lockdown, no flavour in the food, the drinks dispenser was horrible every option tasted like soda water, We did ask if this can be cleaned and just got told to go to the bar and get a drink instead. Which helps us but what about everyone else? The gravy was like water so 5 of us had to wait 10minutes before they could just add gravy granules to make it thicker. The service was great but i would not be rushing to come back here.

Lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they made it seem like nothing would be too much trouble. Food was tasty as ever. Would definitely come back just for the staff.

There’s one waitress in particular and I wish I knew her name but she is the best! She gets five stars for service!Always happy, smiling and helpful.The servers behind the food counter on the other hand my goodness - slow and miserable. The time it takes for them to carve those measly slivers of meat.we waited at the front of the queue for 10 mins before someone came out of the kitchen to carve.Eventually when they did come out one of the guys behind the food counter, young lad , came out to check the pot of sausages knocked a bowl off the top as it went hurtling towards one of my kids! Luckily my friend had quick fingers and caught it before anyone was hurt but the guy behind the counter said nothing. No sorry, no thanks - just stared like a buffoon.Food was great for 50% off but the gravy is tasteless and the yorkies were flaccid - they knew that though and placed three onto each plate instead of the usual amount. Lazy.Bottles of water at £3.30 a go is pretty steep.Wouldn’t come back unless there was another offer.

Visited here with a group of friends and we received really good service from our waitress Steph - she provided excellent service and made sure we were looked after! Food was also amazing as always! Thank you.

The Table Service is Fantastic but I was let down by the Quality of the Food. The Carvery meats are Dry, Roasted Vegetables are hard and normal Menu food is not up to the mark. The Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables were as hard as stones may be due to high temperature in the post cooking storage unit. Starters and Afters are Good. Good Parking space. Clean setting and Festive Ambience.Customer Service is Top class.

A friend and I went to the Toby carvery in Bromley at the end of December and it was such a fantastic experience. We really enjoyed the food which was cooked well. The staff are super friendly and they are so busy but they remain professional and attentive. The lady that looked after us was so good, she explained everything to us and she literally didn't stop for even a moment and we stayed in the restaurant for at least 3 hours! We asked her for her name and how long she has worked for the restaurant and she told us for 32 years ! Amazing service ! We were really impressed ! Her name is Gill and we would like to say a big thank you to Her for looking after us. My friend and I both work in hospitality and it has been really stressful for the last couple of years so we appreciate staff who provide a great service which both Gill did for us and so did the restaurant. We highly recommend the Toby carvery in Bromley, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is lovely.. we will definitely be going back again in the future !

Toby Carvery The Crown 👑.Plenty of free onsite parking. Register your vehicle at the entrance.Bar area and separate restaurant, wheelchair access available.Very affordable and great food. We opted for the carvery, great selection of meats lamb pork gammon turkey and beef. Tonnes of vegetables and gravy and sauces etc.All drinks available at your table. The staff are 5 star. Very tentative and very polite.Great selection of deserts too.Can’t wait to visit again.

Staff are really nice, super friendly and good servers. Food always looks a bit dry under the heat lamps and buffet style always gets messy and slightly unappealing but as I said when I ate it. It tastes better than it looks and no need to get the king size, there is so much food and it's good value for money.
