Wild Mango in Bromley

If you are thinking of indian please dont bother ordering from this restaurant. Except for one or two well made dishes it's a waste of your money. However, taste is far from their biggest issue. Unfortunately this business severely lacks ethics. They flatly refused to resend / refund for missing / damaged items. It seems they are more than happy to continue living in the common misconception that the complimentary poppadoms will more than make up for their blunders.

The Wild Mango is a very good Indian restaurant. There specialist Jhal Chicken is unreal! I'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately despite the fact they've got a sign on there window and a take away menu stating that if you book a table for 4 or more you get a 20% discount alternatively Sundays and Tuesdays are banquet nights this no longer seems to be the case.My mum spoke to them yesterday and they said that this was an expired offer and that the menu she had got was old. She advised them that they shouldn't still be promoting this offer! Which they agreed.However I have picked up the same menu today and tried to book a table with the same outcome.It's a shame because the food is genuinely nice but the special offers seem to be a myth.I my opinion the Amber Fort is your best option when it comes to curries South of the river

We haven't visited few a while but we're really happy we did last week. We've always enjoyed our meals and were not disappointed this time either. It's a shame some reviews state the waiters do not speak good English and talk amongst themselves as over the years we've always found the staff super friendly and charming. Maybe reopening after Covid restrictions eased, they were being cautious and were keeping a distance!

Not the best Indian restaurant, not sure I even got what I ordered as 4 others in our group ordered the same thing and mines was totally different- when asked what I was given was told it was lamb biriyani but I'm not convinced. It was very salty, the meat was a red colour, needless to say I didn't eat it.The service was not the standard I expect they were unorganised and not very great in terms of hospitality.No I would not go there again, I'll stick to my favourite local Indian Restaurant.

I don't see how Wild Mango doesn't have a much higher rating - it is one of the best restaurants in the area. And the staff are great. Easiest five star review.

Had a meal at the restaraunt food was perfect! but very low disadvantage is that it seems like the 2 waiters hardly speak English and this is a disappointment as I think there is a lot more potential in the restaurant as it was very quiet and by the looks of things this is not a comfortable environment due to the fact there is hardly any communication between us and the waiters. I have been to plenty Indian restaurants in Kent and I have not come across a place like this with barely any communication yet they were lingering at the bar and speaking in there own language which I found quite rude.

Not sure if we visited Wild mango on a bad night, but was probably the worse Indian meal I have ever had.Service was appalling with a 2 course meal taking 2.5hrs to serve. Our main course when it finally arrived was cold and very uninspiring.The Mango special was anything but, just a small bowl of tandoori chicken and the Shaslic was a bowl of onions with very little Chicken or anything else.This was topped off by a very expensive bill of £60 for 2 people, which included the £20 discount for dine in & Save.The Restaurant was extremely busy, but with hardly any other Indian restaurants open in the area for dine in this would explain the numbers. When this changes after Corona I expect customers will not be returning to Wild Mango, I know I won't be.

New customer to the restaurant following a move closer. All the food so far has been excellent. Great value, service and staff are very welcoming.

Best curry in Beckenham in my opinion. I have never sat in the restaurant as I have a 2 year old so waiting for a meal is a no no. But every time I have ordered a delivery the food has always been good: Chicken Tikka Marsala is lovely, mushroom rice, coriander rice, onion bhaji s, all full of flavor and cooked well (not dry), plenty of chicken. Lovely naan bread, and free poppadoms (and cooked!). Only thing is the lamb (in a curry) can be a bit tough, but haven't had this every time. However this doesn't stop me from ordering in the future.

Was there for dinner in Jan 18 on a cold wintry night. The weariness of winter very quickly dissipated by the cosy, intimate ambience; pleasant service staff; and the warm, authentic & homely garlic naan & masala. Best indian cuisine in Beckenham!
