I am very disappointed in how the delicatessen has deteriorated in the last couple of month. They have change a cosy corner with a few tables, and put some large fridge that almost empty , and some boxes. This lovely delicatessen has turned into a dump. The toilet is a disgrace, and the carpet has not been hoovered for a long time. Some of previous staff were so lovely and friendly, and been replaced by unhelpful staff.

Waited for 15 minutes to place an order for coffee, but in the end gave up and went next door. In that time the other customer complained about his pastry not being fresh. Well, they did nor look recently baked eventhough it was only late morning. The girl offered a replacement, but after customer's poking finger test it was refused. And guess what - it went back onto the shelf!...

Its ok but IMHO everything that is wrong with UK food culture. Why do average when you could do great? Especially when you are prime location and can charge higher prices? Seemingly staffed by 'saturday staff' with low interest/passion, kind of place that has a rich owner who pops in to trouser the cash but has long since given up being actively involved or driving high standards.Ordered a panini to find you they do not have a panini machine. Ciabatta roll with a bit of ham and cheese zapped in one of those catering ovens for 1 minute. Limp and warm, no toasted edge, no crunch, no melting cheese taste. Coffee was ok. Left disappointed.

Regular customer for over 10 years for weekly meeting with friends. Consistently excellent coffee. Very relaxed atmosphere and all staff extremely friendly. Good deli counter.

Friendly staff and great, great coffee! I would recommend you grab one on your way to the hill. Their freshly made sandwiches are delicious. They also have lovely croissants and nice cakes.

Living in the neighbourhood for a couple of years now, and just started going to this deli after someone recommended the coffee. Have to say it’s very good coffee, along with the baked goods and sandwiches. Not certain why others have commented it’s unfriendly because that couldn’t be further from the truth. Absolutely lovely staff that are so welcoming especially during this pandemic. ☕ 🥐😊

Excellent attentive service whether you eating in or taking it out. Quality food leaning towards natural beautiful ingredients. Definitely has a character!

Employees clearly don't want to be there, let alone serving anyone. Trying to be an Italian Cafe but zero Italian hospitality. Forget about greeting or thanking, even telling you no toilet the first thing when you approach them. If you don't want your coffee to be spilled, go next door !

Lovely local Italian cafe. Great coffee. Good sandwiches. Also nice cakes. They also sell some Italian items including some of the nicest bread in Primrose Hill but it tends to go before 12:30.

This is an authentic cafe/deli, don't expect highly polished service. It is friendly and relaxed. Not a chain, but owner managed. A good pit stop having conquered primrose hill. More seats hidden in the back.
