Bar TCR in Camden

I went out for drinks with my colleagues. It was fun. The drinks were okay. The experience was good. Would definitely go again.

Stopped here on our walk back to Euston for a drink and quick bite to eat. Would recommend a visit.

Very friendly staff. All stars are for them. I pressume their beer selection is better than their red wine selection, I tried the malbec and the merlot, I shouldn't have. I like that they have a covered and heated outdoor terrace in the back where they don't play any music, and inside, they don't play music too loud...in spite of the young crowd. I loved the crowd, young but not rowdy, they all seemed to be engaging in sensible conversation while they have a decent meal instead of coming there to get drunk and laid, these seem to be young but employed, stylish but not pretentious, they probably care about football but not fanatic, it wasn't predominantly male or female, and it's got everything in between. The food wasn't bad at all, I should have gone for the burger but I wasn't so hungry, I had the calamari and a bowl of sweet-potato fries instead. Not bad, not fantastic, just decent and fast accompaniment to whatever you're drinking. I found this place after having walked around on a Friday night, in search of a place where I can sit and drink in relative peace without breaking the bank. My search started around the Chinatown. Google maps reviews is life. Pubs that were affordable had bad service, others with good service, too posh, everything else was too crowded. On the whole, this place passes the Goldilocks standard. Food, crowd, service, noise levels, lighting, interiors, and price...juuuust right.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, reasonable prices. Good size portions and tasty too.

Great to be back after several years. Totally different to the Thursday karaoke nights of the past. Welcoming and great service.

Best time I've had in a bar I in Central London in a long time, we stopped by with a group of friends without notice but staff were attentive and moved a couple of tables around so all of us could sit together, what great service in such a busy street, well done guys! Everyone was super nice and even worked as a team when someone at our table was desperate to find out the title of the song playing 😂 As a matter of fact this is the first time I wrote a review while still being at the establishment, this is cause I trust the evening with TCR Lounge Bar can only end on a high note!PS. Everyone we interacted with here here was an absolute legend, but they were busy working so I only managed to capture a pic of a few before they went on being absolute legends again! 😂

Came here for the English breakfast at noon on a Sunday. Sat in the beer garden at the back - the scenery isn't great but it's a decent space in the summer. The food was brilliant; good sized portions for the price. The bacon here was rather magical, chargrilled to perfection - a must try. The staff were very friendly too which was nice. Overall, recommended 👍
