Update: The owner is claiming that this is a fake review and that they will be willing to prosecute me over delivering a 1 star rating. I will update this from a 1 star with no text to a 2 star with my reasoning, so that the review is not as emotional as per what occurred on the Friday of my order, but based on the facts, so let's look at them below.Disclaimer: All items were 20% off, and when complaining about the paneer's portion size as in the attached image, we were met with the response that we received 20% off and if we want more, we can pay for it. We were so disappointed with the portion that we had a knee-jerk reaction and requested a refund on that item before calling the restaurant. That was an emotional response, but on reflection probably the best course of action given how the telephone attendant spoke with us. Quite frankly, if you are going to reduce portion sizes or quality because you are offering food at a discount, you need to understand that most of your customers would rather pay the full price. I don't think anything further needs to be said here.Ordered:Chilli Chicken - £11.55. Thought this was great, a lot more spicy than any other restaurant I've eaten at before but very flavoursome and would gladly order this dish again; though it is a bit expensive.Tandoori Baby Chicken - £9.55. Flavour was good, but not great, nor terrible. Just good. The portion for the price was very, very small and I thought average tasting for what it cost.Garlic Naan - £3.85. Cold and soggy, and probably 8 to 10 inches in diameter, at best? Very poor value, even if it arrived hot. I'm sure the taste would have been fine at the very least, though.Pilau Rice - £4.25. Very small portion for the price. Any Chinese restaurant in the area serves around 50% more rice for a standard egg fried rice and will rarely charge the same as, or more than £4.25 for their regular portion. There is enough rice to satisfy one individual, and is just as you would expect of it.Raita - £3.05. Again, expensive for just raita, but the portion size was good and cannot complain about that, at least. It was an average raita, not the best, and not the worst; just in the middle.Chilli Paneer - £5.05. See image. In fairness to the restaurant, there's a fourth piece of paneer under the red/orange pepper. We were told that this is the expected portion size and assured that this was normal. Being Indians who have probably eaten at hundreds of Indian restaurants throughout our years, we have never seen that as a regular portion, no matter what has been paid for it. No reasonable restaurant offers a chilli paneer starter, at any price point, where you receive 4 pieces of paneer or less. I definitely believe that statement now, though.

Had the most delicious meal here - paneer Tikka Masala, vegetable korma and butter chicken - all absolutely stellar. And beaten only by the incredible attentive service. Everything was perfect, will be back for sure! Big thanks from the three South Africans!

One of the most horrible experience we have ever had with Indian restaurants in the UK. Went after reading a lot of reviews including talks of it winning some awards. We booked in advance assuming it will be quite busy on a Saturday evening, but to surprise we were the only table in 4 evenings. The location and ambiance was decent more like any local restaurant. But food was just a nightmare, we ordered 4 starters- fish pakora, afghani malai tikka, Akbar’s Baingan(aubergine), and chilli paneer. Delivery time was decent but on arrival we found panner pieces were as hard as rock, seemed like stale. The texture of chicken too didn’t feel fresh. Aubergine had a piece of hair in it. Though they replaced both items on complaint, there was no apology. The main course too felt stale especially meats were definitely not fresh I would put chicken at least 3-4 days old raw. Could sense from the texture and taste. On a taste front the food was again just at par with most of the cheap restaurants nothing exquisite.Cleanliness was very poor, plates dirty ( human hairs ) on at least 2 plates. On cost front, it was too pricey for a restaurant this type.Definitely don’t recommend anyone to ever go

We have used Bombay nights probably twice a month on average over the last year. They have been consistently great - tasty food, generous portions and their food is not full of oil.Last week for the first time ever our food arrived and without going into detail, it seemed the chef had a bad night.I telephoned the restaurant and spoke to the owner. He was very apologetic and not only did they recook our entire meal, he brought it over to us in person to apologise again and make sure we were happy.Things can go wrong at any time and for me the measure of a business is how they look after their customers and put things right on the occasion there is a problem.Bombay Nights have our loyalty - they couldn't do enough that night to make sure we were happy and I really appreciate their loyalty to us. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and reasonably priced in a calm and relaxing setting and the staff are so attentive and welcoming. When they accidently threw away the tiny last bit of food we wanted to keep in a doggybag, they made us 4 new dishes to take-away! One of the restaurants in London I will definitely keep on returning to.

Great food, the Nepalese chicken was just incredible, the portions of rice and Naan are single servings... Which was expense. The main dishes were reasonably priced and great tasting
