Lovely food! They made a mistake, they gave me falafel pita instead of kebab but I'm glad they did it because it was delicious. The staff was very kind

Wowww We are from Israel, where the is falafel original from, and here is better!!! So good, a big variety of dishes and tastes, we recommend it very much. Also a lot of vegan options.. just go !

Best falafel you can find in England, all the flavours are in, comes in a proper pita bread and all the proper salads and sauces. Been there with wife and kids, everything was delicious, we'll come again definitely!!

I’ve spent the last six years since my first trip to Israel looking for a place here that served Israeli street food (especially sabich) as good as any in Tel Aviv, and my life felt oddly incomplete as every place I tried served a bland, Britishished pastiche that made me sad. Well, no longer! Today, I found Basta and now I feel like I never need to leave London ever again for anything (except perhaps warm sunny weather on a daily basis).Hot tip: order the sabich, go for the green chilli sauce, and ask the gent at the counter to go nuts with the Amba (an Israeli mango curry sauce).

Such delicious falafel! I'm a picky falafel eater, and this is one of the best I've had. It's clearly made fresh, so the inside is nice and soft, and the outside crispy. The hummus and salad/veggiez served with it are also fresh and varied, and the sauces creative with tasty twists (spicy sauce, mango sauce, garlic sauce...). They even put care into assembling the pita so that all ingredients make it down to the very bottom. That means real enjoyment to the very last bite! Everything was vegan as well. I absolutely loved it, as did my cousin, who had the falafel bowl (gluten free). Highly recommend.

I came today for the first time in many months and I wanted something to eat.As I was walking close this guys one of them gave me one falafel to try, I wanted to buy anyways but he still approached to me one offered more food.The display is excellent and the stuff really attentive and professional, their customer service is immaculate.I chose the falafel pita for my wife, 6 falafel for my little daughter and it was not clear for me so I chose the schnitzel pita, the same guy just said that I should try the shawarma as it was grilled instead of fried, and he gave me a brief explanation on how they marinate the meat, it was super tasty and tender so that was my option.I’ve never felt so welcome in this place even though I used to come almost every month around the stables.Keep going guys, your work is excellent and I’ll definitely recommend your place and come back many times!!
