Really loved the food and dessert here. You also pay for a slightly higher ambience. The reason I downgraded this review was because I forgot the riesling wine is a sweet wine and the waiter assured us it was a dry one.I feel at the prices being paid here the waiter should have known. My partner refused to let me complain as they don't like fuss so we left most of the wine unfinished.

Took my wife for a little surprise, we had the mary poppins afternoon tea, which was very nice, the service was very good in the main but did feel a bit rushed at the end, also you have a choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate but my wife asked if she could have peppermint tea, she could but that would be extra, also when we sat down we were offered water, I assumed this would be inclusive but I think it was about £5.95. The venue was very nicely decorated and seemed to shout quality.

Fantastic Christmas Lunch. Wonderful welcoming staff. Perfect surroundings and the food was delicious. Glass of Grand Cru Champagne included in the set Christmas Lunch menu. It was a perfect choice and I can’t wait to go back there for dinner in the New Year.

Wonderful! Great food and drinks menu. Prices you'd expect for the location. Very convenient for theatre trip. Wonderful decor and staff were well above and beyond in their level of friendliness.

A lovely place to be for a get together. Food good...smallish portions...good service.....lift for toilets if person has difficulty....otherwise stairs down....central position....London prices!!

Seriously Good Food. Not the cheapest (we were a party of four plus a toddler), but distinct, fresh, packed with exciting flavour combinations and in satisfying choice of dishes. Elegant decor, relaxed ambience, roomy but not noisy, even though most tables were taken and the bar busy. But for us the real clincher was the friendly service. The waiting staff and chef were eager to meet my wife's special dietary requirements and our not-quite-3-year-old grandson was treated to a hotel room to change, even a screwdriver was found to mend his toy! This went well beyond the call of duty. We will come again.

The setting was lovely, a little disappointed in the Mary Poppins Afternoon Tea as it was completely different from that advertised on the site.Having been to a few themed teas this was the least impressive, no character cutlery or anything to actually link it to Mary Poppins. We were also charged extra for our tea to be topped up which was an extra £20 for 2 pots of tea.

Beautifully decorated brasserie!! Our table had been given to a smaller group so unfortunately 5 of us squeezed onto a 4 person table. Slightly tenous link to Mary Poppins for the Mary Poppins afternoon tea (I think the cakes/cocktails were named/themed). My friends who had the cocktails said they were tasty but weren't sure whether they were non alcoholic, but the experience was delicious nonetheless!

Attentive service, reasonably priced set menu (which changes monthly) and lovely setting. Not too busy when we went on a Sunday evening but it still had a pleasant atmosphere - it would be great for a date or a nice meal. The food was good but I was especially pleased with my panna cotta which was delicious. I definitely would come again.
