I came here on a Sunday early evening, it was pretty quiet. I'd not been to Busaba for a few years but if this one is anything to go by it's gone downhill. The place looks tired and needs a good clean. Not helped by the view of the roadworks and skip and bins to view when you're facing the window. I had the duck main, it didn't taste fresh, the sauce was sickly sweet, thick and gooey and not tangy like tamarind should be. Both mine and my friend's meals came out of the kitchen in minutes which made me think most of the food was already cooked and reheated. The cocktails weren't great either, the Espresso Martini was served in a gin glass? I won't be returning. Shame, the staff were pleasant enough if a bit bored looking.

Very nice place. I booked for two and they gave us one of the the few private tables (thank you). The food was good, I had Classic Pad Thai and Calamari. Both tasty. The restaurant was completely packed so it's hard to judge the service like that. The food took a while to come out for London standards. Especially the drinks. All in all it was a good experience!

Beautiful and spacious interior with big tables and comfortable seating. Service was great, everyone is friendly and smiling. Food was delicious and served within 5 minutes of ordering. What a hidden gem! I'll be back! 😊

WOW! Delicious food! We had a selection of starters and mains! Great atmosphere! Definitely recommend this place

Great place, service and food. We had the Calamari, Papaya salad, Duck noodles and Thai Green Curry. Fantastic!

We were there with my family and had a good dinner. The vegetarian options were pleasing and tasty! Pad Thai, asparagus rice, sricho.. all were excellent. We even promptly got a good discount as a UCL student .. highly recommended

Extremely unforgettable, friendly staff! Really enjoyed coming to eat here with my family with the atmosphere the waiters created. The restaurant also has a pretty interior and offers 25% student discount. The only thing I have to say is that the food is not authentic. The pad thai we had did not taste like the one you eat in Thailand which is usually a bit reddish in colour and has a bit of sweetness. Pad thai is also usually served with chilli flakes instead of chilli sauce. The noodles were extremely oily, which we thought was a bit much. Maybe the restaurant is Anglified for the tastes of Londoners but I wouldn’t really come here again as I prefer more authentic Thai food.

I did not enjoy the food at Busaba. I normally love Thai food when its cooked well and although the food looks quite alright in the photos it tasted extremely oily. I could not even finish my meal and afterwards I actually felt slightly ill. I would not recommend this place and won't be returning. You are probably better off spending the money elsewhere.

Just off Tottenham Court Road this feels like a hidden gem. It's a chain that doesn't really feel like one, unless you know. If you are in a group the tables are great and perfect for being sociable while you eat (you can actually hear people on the other side of the table which is rare!) The prices are pretty reasonable (of course you can spend more) you can grab a good sized main for £12.

It was great thai food. The pork belly rice is okay, the panda chicken is okay, the pad thai is great and the mango sticky rice is okay but interesting concept. I dont like setting of the place though very weird seatings. Nevertheless, this is recommended to try if you miss or want thai food.
