Nice pub, friendly staff, good vibe. Limited beer selection - would prefer a few more unusual beers on tap - but otherwise recommended.

Great pub with great aesthetics! Dan & Jess (I think were their names) were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back

Great pub, nice atmosphere, really helpful service as one friend had a unique allergy which was duly investigated from a recipe perspective to ensure they weren't adversely affected. Four of us had fish and chips... which came with rock hard batter, entire meal was luke warm, repeated 4 times with my friends as well. Food aside.. the selection of drinks and service was excellent. If not for the food a 5 star review ...

Went for lunch. Half of the menu was not available and they appear to have an issue with plates. My steak sandwich was served on a bread board. With gravy in a jug. Very impractical. Honestly, in London I have been served dinner on a roof tile, chips in a plant pot and now gravy on a bread board. Get a grip and buy some plates. Hygienic and practical. Am awaiting soup in a basket next! Expensive for pub grub. Otherwise airy, light and clean.

Nice pub with good wine. Started sitting inside, but felt quite uncomfortable that no staff members were wearing a mask and there were no COVID safety measures in place (that I saw), so moved outside.

I liked this bar a lot before. However on this visit my friend and I felt uncomfortable. The staff were watching us like hawks as if we were dodgy and as a publican I think it was very expensive. My friend was a former manager there and I was a former manager around the corner at The Prince of Wales feathers (I also covered here on occasions) Hence our overdue visit.Definitely not in a rush to return.Another disappointing aspect were the toilets. Surely if you have two Initial dispensers, then the toilet roll should at least be in one of them!

Spent an hour on the bus getting here to meet family from abroad, joint was closed in the middle of the week.Clearly marked as open on google maps.No signs, no indication online, nothing.Luckily the Queen Charlotte down the road was open, nice beer list, very helpful staff, great venue.

How can I describe a pub like a thief? The bar staff were friendly as anything, they were there when needed. The beer selection? It was like JK Rowling had written a piece but it missed her overt racism and landed In our mouths as fresh as the troops landing on the beaches of D-Day.The bar in itself is great.

I booked the upstairs out for a work function last Thursday. Having a private space to ourselves made it very secure. The bar staff were terrific the whole evening. The terrace area is brilliant. Great venue. :)

Love this place! Great food and extensive drinks menu, with outdoor seating - both outside and upstairs in the garden roof terrace. As far a central London boozers go, this one is not to be missed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will always strive to help. It's always a pleasure to visit!
