Please ignore the negative reviews.Interior is perfect for the type of restaurant, it's small, cosy and cute.Food was full of flavour, portion sizes are huge! Definitely value for money.Staff are welcoming and friendly.To the person that moaned about Food being ready to quick... chilli will have been made in the morning and sitting in the hotpot.. unless you want to wait for chilli to be made from scratch, of course it will be ready quickly!

We found this place by accident as we were walking in Camden to find somewhere to eat. Best Mexican/Spanish food ever! What a cute little place. Truly local restaurant. The atmosphere is so warm and cosy, the interior is so beautiful - somebody painted all the pictures in there and it's so unique. The service was so friendly and the food was so delicious and the portions were extremely generous! Loved that they have sangria and very interesting cocktails choice! Thank you so much for having us!

Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Small little eatery with queues forming outside. The staff at Frida Camden were amazing hosts for 12 of us.The best Mexican I've ever eaten and great breakfast options too.Amazing authentic Mexican setting.Definitely will be visiting again.

Found this beautiful cafe while having a walk. The staff members were so lovely and gave us recommendations on which food to eat and the coffee was incredible with very generous portions! The inside was very lovely with nice decorations all around. Had a lovely chat with the staff and the food was really incredible :)!!

Very disappointed. Me and my boyfriend go to this place quite regularly and were really unpleasantly surprised on our last visit to find how downhill our favourite date night restaurant has gone! The food was greasy and bland, the cocktails were nothing special and the waiting staff… they stare at you while you eat! Even when we went outside for a cigarette, this waitress was staring through the window. This made us extremely uncomfortable. My boyfriend even complained about the poor quality of the food and nothing was done about it. To top it all off, I’m pretty sure the food has given him food poisoning… he’s been sick for the past few days after we ate here! Really saddened that this once lovely place has deteriorated so much. We won’t be coming back.

I cannot recommend this place enough. This is a very lovely, small, locally owned restaurant named after the great revolutionary Frida Carlo. If that isn't enough of an enticement, Gabriella, the waitress, was an absolute delight. She helped us to decide from the extensive and delicious menu (with impeccable results) and kept us smiling throughout the visit. She really gave the food a run for the highlight of the visit. She even helped with my Spanish! The chocolate cake will set your heart alight and the churros are fried to perfection. Come along for some nibbles from the starter menu or chow down on the mains. It's all reasonably priced and I'll definitely be back with more friends! The cocktails are delicious too! Salud!
