I love this restaurant! How have I never heard of this place? The food is incredible. The waitress who served us was fantastic and so friendly and funny. The food arrived quickly and was served hot. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully presented. The portions are generous. There is outdoor seating with overhead heating. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The restaurant was able to accommodate 5 of us even without a booking. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.Thank you for such a wonderful lunch.

Went there based on my friends recommendation. I love Italian food so this was a no Brainer for me to go. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food did not disappoint. The staff and atmosphere did not disappoint. The food was amazing which makes it a good thing and a bad thing. The good part is I finally ate authentic Italian food made by real Italian people. The bad part I can't eat Italian food at any other restaurant because ciao Bella has raised the bar very high. The staff are very kind and sweet and fast talking. The atmosphere was very vibrant and home-like. Must eat here. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

This place is an unassuming wonder that if you were passing you might give a miss. That would be a terrible mistake!Had been out late the night before (Suede @AllyPally - youth gloriously reclaimed) so needed a good lunch and we got it.I had a ridiculously fresh minestrone to start which seemed to wipe my hangover away (maybe it was the beer) followed by my favourite Italian dish, spaghetti alle vongole (clams) in a white wine sauce. The best I ever had was in Venice and this wasn’t far off it. My friend had the spaghetti meatballs (pictured) which he enjoyed a great deal.We arrived at 12 on a Thursday lunchtime and it was deserted - by the end it was absolutely rammed. Service was great. I particularly enjoyed our waitress insisting my friend ate his last fried mushroom starter.Great value - meal for 4 with service, wine, beer was £132

I was really disappointed in the service that we received at this restaurant. We were served by 3 different members of staff and only 1 of them gave immaculate customer service. As we arrived we were shown to our table, then 1 waitress arrived to take our orders and she was so moody we felt like she was angry with us and made us feel so uncomfortable. When she came to bring the drinks over, she wasn’t wearing a mask (non of the staff were) and instead of holding a tray she was holding the drinks against her chest and in her hands breathing all over them and touching them on her uniform. As the food arrived, the guy that bought over the food completely slammed each and every item he bought to the table (plates, pepper) in such an angry manner (again making us feel like a burden). I was utterly shocked by his actions and everyone around the table had the same reaction saying “they must be having a bad day”. That is not an excuse to treat customers poorly. The food tasted nice hence the 2*. Very standard Italian dishes, big menu and very flavourful. As we finished our food there was a lovely waitress that came over and cleared our table, she made a lot of jokes with us and the tables around us. She had a very positive and upbeat attitude which was a breath of fresh air in this restaurant. She offered the dessert menus etc but we couldn’t fit in anymore food so we declined. As we finished our drinks, the same guy came and aggressively perched over me out of nowhere and grabbed the glasses not even speaking to us.We then asked for the bill which arrived promptly by the lovely waitress. I even told my friends I want to hire her if I get a new vacancy come up as she was delightful.Customer service requires MAJOR improvement. Stop making your customers feel like they’re a burden to you…

Recommended to go here from one of our London friends. Well worth it. High quality food and very generous portions. We tried two pasta dishes, bruschetta and garlic pizza as recommended to us and enjoyed it all. We would try the seafood spaghetti next time!Wine and coffee to finish were a nice addition.Great time overall at Ciao Bella, interior has the most welcoming Italian vibe to it. Fed us well and made us happy.

A fun, no frills Italian that does all traditional dishes very well. On a Friday night it’s busy with an impressive turnover of tables. Staff are friendly and food is served quickly. There is lots of seating inside and more tables outside on the road. Fun place for a Friday night meal and bottle of wine. Decent value too. (P.s. pizzas are massive).

Lovely lunch atmosphere. Very friendly service. Food pretty good. Only let down was the calamari. It was all stuck together.

Nice ambiance, no frills Italian food, tasted good, except the service was just alright. We were seated outside waited for more than 10 minutes and not a waiter come by to order for us.

Busy little authentic Italian Restaurant, delicious fresh food, fantastic fresh pasta, very tasty fresh sauces. I really enjoyed my steak fillet which was perfectly cooked medium rare and not over cooked as steak often can be. The homemade Panna Cotta was absolutely delicious 😋 Felt a little squeezed in to a small space but the food was delicious 😋
