Wife is Malaysian and came here in search of home cooked foods. Was not disappointed, it's awesome. Cozy, Friendly, Epic Taste and reasonable prices. Recommend getting there early as when they run out they run out. Menu changes daily but it's always Malaysian awesomeness

Rather disappointing meal. I ate here a few years ago and was underwhelmed thought I’d give it another chance and seemed no better. They ran out of all their dishes, bar one, by 1:15 so perhaps the good stuff was gone but running out that early into lunch service is strange. Staff are nice but some are rude and the menu isn’t always clear. Plus there is a very long wait both to order and then get your food

Great authentic Malaysian food at a great price. Real Teh Tarik (not powder, they actually pull the tea which is quite rare in the UK) and tasty Nasi Lemak and other dishes. Highly recommend.

If you've been following me, I'm very picky with my food. My food experience in London wasn't going too great. Jess suggested this restaurant called Dapur at 13 Lambs Conduit Passage. We Google searched this restaurant and it told us they open at 10am. We took a bus and reached there at 10.30am and it was still shut. It seems Google wasn't updated . They only open from 11.30am. Although they were shut, they saw us standing outside, and invited us in with a warm cup of tea tarik. At some restaurants especially here in the UK, they rare go over and beyond. Everything is cooked fresh and placed on hot serving dishes. Once presented on a hot display unit, you can choose the type of rice, be it plain white rice or nasi lemak. From there you can choose between one or three main dishes that would compliment with your rice. I loved they hospitality given by them. We were offered extra dishes along with what we have. Both jess and I had nasi lemak with beef rendang and ayam masak merah. I can tell you the dishes are spot on. Don't let the size of this little gem fool you. Their hospitality is full of heart and I do feel like home when I was there. Would I recommend this place, if I had three hands, I would give it a three thumbs up 👍 👍 👍

I’ve been looking for a rendang that emulates my grandma’s rendang and this is the first restaurant that really hit the spot! Perfect flavours and texture, we took it home to heat it up again and still tasted great. Also tried their sambal which was spot on. They also do homemade Malaysian sweet treats - I took away their pineapple tarts to share with family and they were all very happy. It’s a cute spot, will definitely want to come for lunch to eat in. Will be making a visit again soon!

We can fully understand why MasterChef contestant, Zaleha Kadir Olpin, who also hails from Malaysia, named Dapur the UK's best Malaysian restaurant, while declaring: "They serve delicious authentic Malaysian food in a Malaysian tiffin that’s perfectly seasoned and full of flavour."The food here is full of depth and flavour, superbly executed, with all the love of any home cooked food. It truly is 'dapur', or 'kitchen' as its translated, cooked food.It should be highlighted too that Dapur is only open during the weekdays between 11.30am to 3pm. It might be a good idea, therefore, to get there early to avoid the disappointment of some of the more popular dishes selling out.HALAL STATUS: Fully Halal

Delicious home made indonesian food. Slightly on the pricey side but I guess it's because of the location. Portion is pretty filling though. I had the Nasi Lemak with a side veg dish. Chilli are pretty spicy. Beware

As a gluttonous Malaysian, I crave home-cooked Malaysian food too often and this place offers the perfect remedy. Tucked in a quiet corner offering quaint decor and a changing menu, dapur serves up big bold flavours of home at affordable prices. Not to draw comparisons but this place is by far the most chilled of the Malaysian restaurants in London and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Big thumbs up.

Authentic Malaysian food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. It's abit on the spicy side, but it's delicious.
