Besides the fact that I ordered ginger ale, I was given ginger beer and the waiter insisted it is ginger ale… 4 drinks in a pub… £40, naah, never again..

Cute pub with interesting beers but had a terrible experience with the sassy barman. A string of strange interactions… giving us rules on menu viewing and ordering, swiping food away before you’ve finished your last bite and telling our group not too get too comfortable because he wanted to close in 90 minutes time. I won’t be going back that’s for sure!

They served me a warm beer and when I asked the bartender and the manager to serve me a different bottle of Strawberry beer that is actually cold, the manager REFUSED, saying that “I should know better” she will not tarnish “her stock to give me a cold one”.Shameful. Disrespectul of customers. Completely dissappointed in Sam Smith.

Busy, mostly Sam Smith's brewery beers on tap. Pleasant atmosphere, decent amount of seating but might be worth reserving as it fills up quickly.

Great building, terrible atmosphere and staff.Went to this pub and was told we weren't allowed to use our phones. At first we thought it was a funny quirk but turned out the people behind the bar were being serious. We explained we were using our phones to tell our friends where we were to join us, we were then 'given permission'. An odd encounter. We had our pints served which looked like they weren't fully poured and had massive heads on them. Asked for a top up and we were told no and that it was a 'healthy head' i.e. no beer.

Great experience food was prepped quick and fresh, great ratio between price and quality, accommodating my preferences about modifications. Team was happy and welcoming. Was my first time here but will def come back. Check their upstairs rooms as they are really cosy and authentic old pub vibes. Table 303 is next to the real fireplace. Thanks!!!!!!

An old but nice pub in central London.

Good beer, spirits, non alcoholic drinks. Comfortable seating. Good to find a real fire in the lounge bar. Very noisy (and rude) customers at a neighbouring table, who toned down slightly on request. They continued to be rude which made for an uncomfortable evening.

Went for lunch and it was great food with great decor and an open fire giving it a cosy feel. Notices on the table recommend not using your phone and reconnecting with each other. Fantastic sticky toffee pudding as well! Felt like a hidden gem - it was quiet and charming. Prices are surprisingly affordable for the area and really good value for the quality you get.
