Friend At Hand in Camden

Went there for a catch-up with friends on Friday evening. Place was packed but we had booked a table beforehand. We just took drinks. As it was packed it took a bit of time before I could order at the bar. They were showing the rugby game which was nice.

Brilliant place.. Landlord Frank is an absolute legend.. Food is great.. Can't wait to visit again.. Ruby and football is shown too

I’ve been here quite a few times and generally found it to be a great pub with friendly staff and a nice crowd. My last visit tainted that completely. I walked in on my lunch break to order fish and chips and was spoken to shortly by an aloof and rude girl with a nose piercing and an Irish accent. Given the fact that the place was empty and I was ordering an overpriced portion of fish and chips I wasn’t expecting it to be a massive deal for me to ask how long the food would take roughly so I could ensure I got back to work on time. We all have bad days but I’d suggest your staff avoid taking it out on paying customers.I was pretty dumbfounded and left without completing the order.Leave your problems at home and don’t treat people like idiots.

A great pub that serves lovely food and a healthy selection of ales and beers situated right behind Russel Square Tube Station. No need to explain why that's quite useful lol, that said, great place to relax and get a few cold ones down you after a hard days graft.

The Sunday dinner was absolutely disgusting. Reheated chicken from who knows how long ago, and Yorkshire pudds where like crisps. Honestly, the most awful dinner we ever had. Staff were more interested about hiding in the back and when one came out , she was quite rude. As how dare you come in now while I'm having fun back here! Without going more into more detail of how disgusting the food was, we will NEVER go back again...

Myles the chef did really well on the food! It was all very tasty!! The Sunday roast was lovley! Also Matt was very nice and attentive,nothing was a bother. I will be back if you guys are there!

I wish 0 starts was an option for these kind of visits. One of the worse pub experiences ever. Never seen as impolite of a manager anywhere, ever. Shouting and screaming on customers without trying to find a compromise on an issue created by some inexperienced worker. Friendly advice - skip this place and find another bar.

Not open as we passed by early morning on the way to Postal Museum but it catches the eye with the floral display and décor outside. Seems to be a good place to go when open too. Colonnade alongside also interesting in a, not usual in London, sort of way.

What a gem of a pub. Frank and the team are first class. A group of 12 lads on a stag do were accommodated by Frank with fairly short notice, for both the early kick off and the Joshua fight in the evening. Everyone had a great time. We’ll be back again!

Just had a delicious chicken and chips with cappuccinos, served by Zoey, the beautiful and lovely bartender. Cozy place, great staff :)
