Grain Store in Camden

Nice decor and atmosphere, especially with the open kitchen. Service was decent but a bit rushed (mains came as soon as we finished our starters so had no time to digest the staters). Food on the whole was fairly good.

Tantalising flavours and combinations. I really enjoyed every single dish. The chef is making colourful dishes and mixes successfully sweet and savoury with a surprising result. Must try!

My second visit and throughly enjoyed it. Atmosphere was good, staff friendly, good veg, vegan and gluten free options. Would recommend getting a side dish with your meal.

Really nice place for dining out with great ambience. Food was good but they were all a little on the salty side.

Though not a vegetarian restaurant, the vegetable dishes here are so creative and so technically sound that it's worth just ordering those over any of the meat dishes! The ravioli and pea tartlet are absolute must orders.

Really enjoyed the Mexican salad, and it was a nice atmosphere in the semi private area they cal the "fishbowl" at the back. The only downside was the service who kept mixing up our dishes.

It was OK. Went for brunch with a friend on Sunday. Nice atmosphere and decor. The menu was interesting. My friend had a standard poached eggs, avocado and toast. I tried the sweet potato waffles. It was good but arrived lukewarm and the portion size was a little disappointing.

Was very busy when visited without advance booking around 7pm during mid week, but were squeezed in and happily seated at chef's table. Very much enjoyed the freshly prepared food but the service was poor. One of our main meal side dishes didn't turn up and the coffee I was served wasn't the one I ordered. It took quite a while to attract a waiter's attention so that we could pay. We did get an apology for the missing order and too late we were asked if we'd still like to have it as we were finishing dessert. A little more awareness and attention to detail would go a long way.

I really liked this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite some bad reviews I had seen prior to going. The menu was really high on vegetables, without being a vegetarian restaurant. So good for everyone. And the drinks list was great with some interesting cocktails. There is an outdoor area which is really nice in the summer.

The vegetarian selection was excellent but it's easy to forget the meat courses were exquisite. All the dishes were original and inspired and not overly expensive and the cocktails were fantastic. 'Why three stars then' you may ask. The service was terrible. It took half an hour to order, an hour for starters, an hour for mains (my one didn't even arrive with everyone else's. I got mine 15 minutes later after my now starving mates had already scoffed down their food). The bill even took 30 minutes. The room was very busy, but that's no excuse. If service is getting affected, they need to stagger bookings and seat less people.
