Nice clean comfy room overlooking Tavistock Square, we decided to have breakfast delivered to our room but it was 4 very hard boiled eggs with shell on, a plate of bacon and a load of bread, not what we was expecting so next time if we stay here we will have to go down with our hangovers for a better breakfast ,apart from that we very much enjoyed our stay here ,it was a great location for going to watch les mis

Perfectly okay hotel. Really nice staff, and if you get the right side of the hotel the view is quite good. Rooms could do with a bit of an update, and the breakfast isn't fantastic, but it serves its purpose and is really decent for the price. The lobby/lounge/restaurant is really nice and well decorated, and you get a meal at an affiliated restaurant free with your booking if I recall. I'll likely be staying there again, definitely didn't hate it.

Although there are some minor issues regarding paintwork. This is an extremely comfortable, clean and atmospheric hotel. Good food is served in a lovely restaurant by courteous staff. There is a lovely, relaxed bar area. The impressive Art Deco features lend an air of a bygone age. I will definitely return

The hotel and room were largely ok, clean and did it's job.But there were two issues: a lack of variety at breakfast and lack of AC in the rooms. The rooms got really hot really fast, in May nonetheless. But the location is excellent, close to subway and bus station, and quiet.

Clean, comfortable and very convenient. Had a good night's sleep. Wasnt there long enough to sample the breakfast. In room refreshment not abundant but was able to make a cup of tea. There was no coffee available in lieu of breakfast when I was checking out at 6am, otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars for comfort and value for money.

I will stay here again. For a good price, the rooms are compact, clean and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were comfortable too. We were delighted that somehow there was enough storage for the luggage of 3 people staying for 3 nights. It's worth getting a cooked breakfast included as they are good. The staff everywhere in the hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was pleasant. The bed in room 830 was comfortable. I'm tall but I was there on my own so I could sleep diagonally. The room was dated. And it wasn't that large. The windows only opened a fraction. I was there across a February heat wave so that maybe explains why the room was so hot. I turned the radiator off which did improve things. Nevertheless, I was barely able to get the room cool even at night when temperatures outside were down to say 8-10 degrees. The bathroom, though dated, was clean and functional.I slept well although I woke early with the heat. The hotel is a reasonable price for London, however, hence my rating.

We moved to this hotel from a seriously bad one. Upon entering you cannot miss the Art Deco styling and features. The reception staff are very polite and courteous as are the concierge. The rooms are of a good size and really clean. With tea and coffee making facilities provided. The view is beautiful, overlooking Tavistock Garden/Square. It is near a main road so there is some traffic noise but not much. The decor is a little dated but it’s clean and well maintained.Took a while to figure out how to turn the radiator off in the room. The breakfast is well catered. From a full English to continental with fresh cooked meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals and fruit. The staff throughout the hotel are very welcoming and attentive. We were asked why we were visiting London and it was for our wedding anniversary. Room service kindly brought us a complimentary bottle of wine! Such a kind gesture 🙂We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were delightful and offered extra towels as we arrived as it was heavily raining. The room was plenty big enough and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was included and was lovely and a great selection. Definitely will be back again.
