Most enjoyable - good atmosphere - delicious and filling food - varied menu.

Had a table on the front forecourt, nice sunny day, but sadly, service was very slow ( Eggs Florentine were lukewarm) due to lack of staff. Other customers seemed impatient; shame that hospitality suffers from this at the moment.

Most of the food is ok but very, very expensive for what you get. Other Locals will stop going if they don’t review their prices. Our group of friends had to stop going as it was no longer good value. Prices for some dishes are now ridiculous. There are now other places locally that are cheaper and in some respects offering better quality food.

Whenever I visit from Canada drop in here for excellent breakfasts, good coffee , good service, great baking A local favourite for my daughter and grandchildren. They have interesting art for sale, especially now from June 8 th- 2021 for few weeks.

We had a nice drink here & cake with our kids - the staff accommodated us on two tables (COVID rules). Drinks were nice and cake was tasty - overall would recommend. Good place to refuel before or after adventures on Hampstead Heath

Pathetic bread portion size!Ordered soup with organic bread for £5.80, at lunchtime on Tuesday 27 August 2019.Lovely soup, but what a pathetic portion size of bread, eqivalent to just one third of the size of a single slice!If I was the waiter serving I'd be highly embarrassed.Any good things about this cafe are completely wiped out after this experience.

Excellent pit stop to liven up your walk in Hampstead Heath. Unpretentious, friendly and great value. The best thing about it is the people who work there: always kind, funny and mischievous. Always a pleasure to drop by.
