We had a chance to preview the place, now that it is under new management. It's been redecorated, the place looks really good. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they served us up some tasty hors d'oeuvres. Based on this I would go back. Recommended.

This place is wonderful. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Food was great. Brilliant place to go to after a visit to the museum

I believe this is the most terrible restaurant in London. Food is AWFUL. The credit card terminal seems never work so I had to pay by cash. (I didn't have cash so the manager forced me to withdraw at an ATM nearby, leaving my wife there!) A lot of table service charge forced. Never visit here. NEVER.

Avoid!3 of the items we ordered were unavailable. What was served was reheated (and in the case of chicken, inedible). The waiter reduced the price when we complained but did not apologise and really did not seem that bothered. To cap it all, the card payment machine wasn't working. This place is right across the road from British Museum but there are other better restaurants within a few yards so there is really no need to go to this one.

Horrible.Uncooked, cold and hard rissotto. Rest of the mains weren't impressive either. Heated up in the microwave, warm-ish.Tea served in dirty cup with a lipstick mark on it.How can you mess up the chips?! It was so hard that could break your teeth.Appetizers arrived after the mains. The tomato soup was so sour that none of us could eat it.Unfriendly staff. The waiter seems to have been rushed and annoyed. He was offended when we complaint. Very poor service.I wish we checked the reviews before going there.I'm surprised this place is still standing.

Scam restaurant. Tourist trap. Waitress took about 15 minutes to give us a can of coke. Food was cold and the smallest portion I ever seen in my life . Even my kids would be hungry after that. On the end, while paying a bill instead of £18 he added 20% service charge which I said that I will not pay because it wasn't mentioned anywhere and he can't do that. In answer I got that everyone are happy to pay it . I didn't pay it. You don't need to pay it. Avoid

Real Italian ristorante. Best Price/quality becouse food IS really not expencive for London. Luigi and his personal IS special and food tastes just like on Rome. Ofcource If you want to drink alcohol, price for your dinner will grow. But so IT IS everywhere. Otto from Finland with big family loved service, Italian atmosphere and good simple food. Not gourmet, but nearly! And good thing was, that we could leave our baggage here when we see British Museum.

We came at an off hour, like 515 pm, due to just arriving, needing food and trying to stay awake. He was willing to let us get dinner even though it was a bit early. I had the veggie risotto, which was edible though unlike any other risotto I’ve ever had. My mom loved her Spaghetti Carbonara. The prices were good and it’s right across the street from the British Museum. He was also willing to give us tap water. Edible though nothing to write home about.

Food was nice but not great. Service was slow and coffee was not only in the cup, but also on the saucer. Moreover, waitress asked us for tip as if it were included, but as we could see, on the bill was written that it's not.

It was one of the strangest cafes I had ever been to. The initial aesthetic looked very fancy yet very cheap at the same time. Both me and my friend ordered a jacket potato with tuna. It came in a bowl, on a plate, and it had certainly not been made properly. It looked as though a tin of tuna was opened and plonked on top of the potato, with two spoonfuls of mayonnaise plonked on top of that. It was a sort of finish making the food yourself situation. The worst part was when the bill came. The waiter openly asked if we wanted to add a service charge, whilst clutching hold of my friend's credit card. We uncomfortably said yes (although we really didn't want to give anything). He then asked how much we wanted to give, instead of letting us privately decide. It was all very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I certainly won't find myself in there again!
