Lakeside Cafe in Camden

It was my partner & I anniversary today & we really wanted to try this place out. We were not disappointed at all! From the start, we were greeted and seated within 5 minutes even though they were very busy. We ordered the Fry Up & American Breakfast with waffles! Both were so good, one of our new favourite for breakfast & brunch! Thank you for a lovely afternoon 😁

Absolutely gorgeous food! Super tasty. Only faults are price and seating. A tad too pricey for what they give, and we were placed right next to the kitchen - which is fine, but proximity to everything around us was very close.

Wow, what a fantastic restaurant. Lovely decore and some of the best breakfast, brunches we had.The positions are generous, chef presented to our table. The prices for Camden High Street not bad at all, considering some places.Good table services and we will return again for both work and pleasure.Keep us the fantastic services and high quality standards ❤️

Best English breakfast we've had in a while!! Loads of options, filling, tasty, well cooked food that is not greasy. The freshly squeezed orange juice I bought lasted from before I started eating to after I finished! Creole chicken on waffle was also thoroughly enjoyed. Wow. Thank you for your great service. We will definitely be revisiting.

It was one of the most joyful experiences with delicious breakfast in London 😍 the staff was pretty sweet too. The ambience was very cosy and lively ! My favourite was French Toast with Nutella! The entire experience and the food was totally worth it! Would love to visit again 🥞

Had a very nice brunch with friends at Lumi. Had to queue a bit but it was worth it. There's a good variety of brunch options, including American and English. They also have a vegan and vegetarian options. The portions are huge and although nothing in particular blew my mind I found it a great value for money, good solid food and quick service.This might very well become my go to spot for brunch in Camden.

The hollandaise sauce was full of flavour in the eggs benedict. However, I had specifically requested for the egg whites to be cooked but some of this was runny and slimy (minus one star for that). There was a sprinkle of edible flowers on the top, perfect insta pics. I loved how colourful the plates of food were.The french toast was the best part to my brunch, it was delicious. At first we were told they didn’t have any but then the staff member came back to tell us they had some which was great news as I looking forward to trying this. It came with a good textured cream which worked well with the toast and fruits. The giraffe powdered on top of the chai latte was a nice touch. As it was a bank holiday, it was busy and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated which I didn’t mind as it was worth it. Cannot be booked prior to visit.

Wow! What an amazing brunch! Big mouth watering portions, beautifully presented. Nice atmosphere and very good and efficient service. There was a delay with our drinks and the manager himself came to the table to apology! Highly recommended!

The food was vibrant and delicious, I had the creole chicken waffle. The portion sizes are generous. Loved the interior, a very classy and elegant look. Also had their orange juice with my breakfast, which was really refreshing. Service was great; speedy and waitress was friendly.Would highly recommend this place if in Camden!

We had THE best lunch here today. The presentation was beautiful, the quality of the food even better. It was so good I took pictures of my plate, before and after. We live in Philadelphia and can’t wait to come back and visit again. Truly truly loved it. Thank you!!
