We booked this restaurant a week and a half in advance of going. We booked for Sunday roast at 5:30pm.At around 4:45pm, they called to ask if there was "any chance we could come in earlier as we were the last table they were waiting for".Given the 45 minute notice, we could not change our plans to accommodate. Whilst I can appreciate we all want to get home early after a busy day, don't allow customers to book at that time if it isn't suitable, and if you do, don't make them feel unwelcome by asking to attend earlier as you're waiting for them.A short while later, we got another call to explain that they had run out of vegetables and could only offer us meat and potatoes. Whilst I can understand that things happen, to have no vegetables at all to offer is terrible service. Their excuse was that they "didn't expect that many people to turn up for Sunday lunch today". That sounded like a farce of an excuse to br frank, and if it were true, then that's just poor planning. They knew for over a week we were booked in for 5:30pm.At this point, because we felt so unwelcome and thought we may get the scraps from the day, we decided to go elsewhere. I recommend booking earlier in the day and avoiding the later time, or you may get the same treatment!

Fantastic place with plenty indoor and outdoor seating, great service from all the staff especially Shane who was looked after us all night. Good selections of drinks and wines to choose from and a lovely spot in Camden to spend any night out. Will definitely be back again!

Really great vibes in this place! The decor, the staff, the drinks - all fab!! I do wish the cocktail menu was a little more extensive (currently just 4 drinks). Annoyingly, we messed up and went on a day when the kitchen was shut, it would’ve been nice to have more drinks to choose from but nonetheless, the draught cider option was great - so can’t complain!

The farrier pub camdon Market. We visited the farrier for light refreshments with a group of 6 the staff were very professional on arrival, during our time inside my 6 month old daughter needed her nappy changing when my girlfriend asked a member of staff they said it was OK until she was rudely interrupted by another staff member telling her to go use public toilets as the nappy would smell. As you can understand my daughter was becoming distressed so to be told to go wait in line at busy public toilets when there was perfectly good facilities for us to use is disgusting!!I find it disgraceful to refuse a parent to change their child's nappy especially giving the fact we were paying customers. I feel this is an issue that needed to be mentioned and I hope another parent isn't put in the same position.

I absolutely recommend The Farrier in Camden for a cool vibe, excellent food and great service! The manager Will and his team made us feel valued, his wine recommendations were on point and they honestly serve one of the best Sunday roasts in London!

This place serves good honest food, simple ingredients done well. The lunch menu was limited and mainly vegetable based but execution was to a high standard. Saying that we did have the sirloin steak and it was delicious. Nice interesting wines also; We're going again, with our friends!!

The Lamb Scotch Egg was possibly one of the tastiest things I have eaten this year. So good. Lovely venue and incredibly friendly staff. Will return next time I'm in London.

We had really lovely, excellent value food at the Farrier and they have some great vegetarian and vegan options. Just so tasty! They've thought a lot about their menu and use seasonal, good quality produce, which shows! They have lovely wines as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really attentive. We didn't take our pooch although we saw one inside so we believe they are dog friendly. Will definitely be returning!

Tucked away towards Chalk Farm Road. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, great service and nice and quiet on a Monday afternoon. The perfect spot for lunch in the sun (or shade).Friendly staff and a warm welcome makes a massive difference in a tourist spot. The staff here were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The “Roastie Toastie” special was great. Roast meat, carrots, roast potatoes sandwiches between two flat Yorkshire puddings. The only downside, the gravy was a bit heavy with fat and the roast beef had a large amount of fat on each slice. All in all, generous portion and great value (£8) when you compare the Roastie Toastie to other “dishes” (if you can call them that) from other stalls on the market! Will definitely be back again!
