I don't usually give good reviews but the food we had was top notch. Tables , cutlery , plates all spotless. Waiter service terrific and the food fantastic and tasted freshly spiced and aromatic. Sad to see that COV19 has created problems for many restaurants in terms of business but hopefully this little gem of a restaurant can survive.

The food was good and reasonably priced, and the wait staff very attentive. I do agree with other reviewers about the 3.95 charge for bottled water; that was excessive. I did not specifically ask for bottled water, and have never been charged for water at similar restaurants. Had I known, I would not have asked for any water at all.

Disappointed with the service. The food was good, I've had better Jalrezi's but the one tonight wasn't the worst, somewhere in the middle.Having a waiter walking up and down the aisle beside you felt like a prison guard (expectation and not personal experience 😂) waiting to take you back to your cell. Being the last customer it was made obvious I need to leave ASAP as these guys have better things to do.I think the final straw was when I was asked if I was leaving a tip.Disappointing as work trips mean I'll be in this area and having a 'go to' curry house would suit me. I've tried a few and struggling to find a good one.Customer service isn't that hard and this was more bad manners, lack of decorum.... Shame as it had potential.

Just popped in this restaurant today as we wanted to dine in. so when we entered ,the waiter was confused and acted as if we were invisible and then we had to ask him if the restaurant was open and he's like outside there is a board displayed saying its open, to that we said ,we want table for us and that's why we asked you if the restaurant was open. So he offered us a table to sit and it wasn't even one minute we sat , he started asking are you'll ready to order. We told him we want to sit and order drinks first and then main course, to that he said please its compulsory to order three dishes for main course. We told him we want drinks first and we will decide later what we want to order. So he gave us the menu and we were going through the menu to order what we want, the waiter came to us saying are yourl ready to order , we said to him please can you just give us sometime to have a look at the menu and decide. So we ordered our drinks and told him we want main course directly he said okay. We ordered what we wanted just two dishes ( chicken biryani and chicken curry) so he said yourl need to order one more as yourl are three people. We told him why are you interfering too much about what we want to eat and drink and you are acting very rude , and if you have any problem we will leave. He just left then saying yourl have to order everything together and food will come together as it takes 15-20 mins. He was saying order a chapati or naan and we said we dont want it. So after a while he Got the food what we ordered and kept on the table , and we all were just chatting, he's like please have the food other wise it will get cold, eating hot food is good he said. So we told him please leave us alone as we are talking and discussing something important. So he left. He came back again and asking where are yourl from and what yourl are doing. We never shouted at him nor said anything bad to him but he was just becoming too much nosy and eating our brain's.Very bad customer service, no respect for the customer and we were treated so poorly and felt so bad because we didn't expect this thing to happen when you want to eat peacefully.

First of all my girlfriend asked for tap water. The waiter said she had to have bottled water. We ordered starters not bad,the main course lamb curry even though its was nice. I thought it was a vegetarian dish as it had more veg than meat. We also ordered a chicken korma. The waiter asked us how spicy we said mild. When the food came out if was like eating dessert. Instead of adjusting the dish they added sugar. The waiter won't stop giving us dirty looks. Oh by the way there's also a fridge in the middle of the restaurant. We also had an incident when the worker told two customer's to stand up and leave because they only wanted starters. He then said to us it's not worth the fabric napkins and table cloth. Wouldn't recommend going here I'd rather stay hungry. Please don't wast you're money or energy attempting to dine at this woeful place.

I have had the pleasure of growing up eating at this delicious local restaurant. Lovely staff who always remember my family and are courteous, yet friendly. Mouthwatering food with generous portions served hot and promptly for pick up or to eat in the cozy restaurant. We once introduced another family to it and they liked it so much they would drive all the way from Barnes just to get their take away from here!

Really great food. It’s a bit off the tourist tracks and that’s a plus. I had the Thali plate with meat (19,90 £) and could hardly finish it. Loved it
