Lockside Lounge in Camden

Very noisy for dinner, quick service considering the rush. I did not like the burgers, found them too greasy. Some of the others did so it depends on your preference.

Drinks are expensive even by London standards - just under £14 for two pints, and that includes local beer.They are on the Dusk app where you can get a free pint of Guinness but when I was there it was of course coincientally not on tap.Nice decor and music but lacked atmosphere.

Simply wonderful, friendly professional welcoming service, a true London experience, I simply loved it and highly recommend a visit.

For a drink, it's fine. A bit on the pricey side, but it's London. It's Camden Town and by the canal. But avoid the food, especially the snacks. Not worth the wait to get the food. Not worth the price. The "saddest" tortilla chips in the world. The draught beer is OK, at least.As a side and unpleasant note - Ladies toilets were filthy. While I wasn't expecting the most pristine toilets, I wasn't expecting something as disgusting as what was encountered. It looked like the toilets weren't cleaned in at least a week. Ladies, prepare all your skills learned in life, these toilets are like a final exam!

The service was the worst I've ever had. The blonde young waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional.The food took AGES to come, and when it did come it wasnt worth the wait. The sweet potato fries were so burnt and we were told "the always look like that". If I could give this 0 stars I would. Save yourself the time and money and go to the lovely burger stand just outside

Just love the building...it will be my home, bar already installed, what more could you ask for? An old warehouse building, right by Regent's canal, amazing. Only letdown (just a little bit) floppy plastic pint mugs inside. The peeps behind the bar a lovely and keen to help. Great background music. It is very difficult to find what you don't like about this pub. Do pay a post lockdown visit.

Headline: good for drinks. Food is a bit average.I tried their Eat Out to Help Out menu which consisted of the Wagyu Burger and the Soft Shell Crab Burger.I found the wagyu burger to be a decent take on the classic burger with a good combination of flavours and textures and a generous serving of fries.The Crabacado Burger on the other hand was abysmal. While in theory this should have worked, considering it was on a pretty good pretzel bun, in reality it was wayyyyyy to salty. I suspect the chef dropped the salt container into the batter. I also found there to be too much of a mishmash of flavours and the texture wasn't there - too gooey from the avocado and red pepper tartare.Too complicated for a burger that should have been more simple and focused on the soft shell crab.They also ran out of a couple of beers that I liked.On the plus side, great views of Camden Lock. Camden has always been one of my favourite sports in London. A bit sad now seeing it post lockdown. I visited Sunday and at 5pm the majority of the shops started to close down and people living because they are closing at 8pm. Most of the places were open but not all.

My wife, younger daughter and I came here on Sunday afternoon, Sept 15, 2019 for drinks. Many chose to sit on the terrace as the roomy interior was quite warm. We chose that and later we moved to a table with a view and that made a difference. Apart from the use of free toilets, we rested for a while enjoying our drinks at reasonable prices!

Very beautiful place. A pub over the Camden street food Square close the bay. It's at the end of the High street on the right out the underground station. For every hour of the day. Advise You the Atlantic Pale Ale beer. Good music too.
