As a hotel ... lol! That it is not! Outrageous room price for substandard accommodation. If you consider Premier Inn or such like as a standard (comparable pricing), this place should charge one-third of what they charge.

The room was nothing like the pictures. It was tiny, dirty, one window wouldn't lock or stay closed. The radiator wasn't working so we had no heat mid winter, I'm disabled and need heat. Carpet was worn, grimy, threadbare, scorched and ancient. Room and ensuite were dirty. Toilet seat did not fit the toilet and skidded all over the place and pinched. Only one socket in the room. Lamps did not work.Mattress was old lumpy and worn down, woke up in a lot of pain because of it.Dirty, battered and looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 70'sNo staff around for any help. Very grubby and minimalist despite the price. Never ever again.

Terrible experience poor decorative state. Shower in room didn't work. Poor value for money

Very basic room, get what you pay for. The bathroom was very small. Take refreshments for the room if you want more than one coffee or tea. They dont provide cold drinks in the room, but there is a bar downstairs.Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Camden.Handy if you just want to get your head down for the night.Staff were friendly though, and the bed was quite comfy.

From the picture on the website is nice and big but rooms are extremely small even with an ensuite bathroom. I can barely put my head into the sink to wash my face.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE THANK YOU! I ordered 2 pizzas online via Just Eat. The pizzas arrived ruined, because the delivery driver had put them in his back pack upside down, They were mangled, and stuck to the box. The cheese was even coming out of the box, and got stuck all over my door mat when the delivery boy dumped them there. I rang the restaurant to alert them as to what had happened. The manager was so apologetic and to my surprise he DROVE 2 NEW PIZZAS TO MY HOUSE IN HIS OWN CAR AND HAND-DELIVERED THEM (and i live a good 40 minutes drive away in a car). I cannot believe how kind this was of him, and i will be forever grateful. Oh and just to add, the pizzas tasted DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend the food here and the customer service I received is just beyond incredible. Thank you SO SO SO much!

my partner and i booked a double room for one night after a concert. although the staff were friendly and the food was good, on the website when we booked, there was no indication that we would be sharing a bathroom with another customer but we let it go. the room itself was unclean, the pillows were as thin as paper and we weren’t provided with any kind of bed covers such as a blanket or duvet to sleep under, meaning we had a very cold night. after 10pm, the front doors are locked and you have to enter in through the back, which isn’t massively secure as a gate (easily climbable) is the only thing stopping people getting through the open door to the hotel. bathroom was generally very unclean too, toilet stained and shower also. for £30 a night we didn’t expect much but overall not happy.

I stayed at Newmarket house Hotel for 7 nights and I definitely would recommend! The pub was closed to due covid-19 however the room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Staff are really polite and helpful. Great Value overall, 5stars!

Have stayed here 2 times now. Fair price for what they offer. Rooms are not very big or fancy but they are cheap and the location is good. The beds are comfortable enough and warm water in shower and sink. The pub downstairs was closed due to Covid-19 at the time, but they offered take away so we had our meals in room. Not too many choices in the menu, but the food is amazing. Fresh and tastes really good.Totally recommend this place if you need a hotel or a pub 🙂

First time visiting tonight and we were delighted with our choice! Lovely interior, friendly staff, and delicious food! The freshest pizza dough ever! They were offering the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, allowed our small dog and were happy to adjust the pizza for my vegan ways ;0). 10/10 excellent! We will defiantly be back, thank you
