I went to The Pembroke on Sat evening with my m8s. Just before visiting Primrose Hill. And what a treat it was! Great, tasty food, attentive staff, drinks arriving just in time, extra bread (grilled and crispy) for baked camembert, smiley manager and atmosphere amongst reasons for my score.

Had the best time at this pub! It’s a beautiful place, with lots of character. The staff were amazing and very friendly Carys (not sure how to spell their name) was exceptionally good. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Nice quaint little pub, staff are helpful and very friendly and the food actually tasted good for Stonegate/Brakes mass produced stuff. Plus Gamma Ray on tap is always gonna be a winner

Good pub with a large beer garden. One of five that makes a great pub crawl in Primrose Hill.

Great garden and friendly staff. Didn’t get any main course food there, but enjoyed drinks and a nicely presented (and tasting) bread and olive starter!

Decent pub with good outside seating. Stopped here on a very quiet lunchtime for a quick bite and a pint. All satisfactory and would probably come here again if it was a bit livelier.

A most agreeable pub close to Primrose Hill. A lovely building named after one of the prettiest cases in Wales. The beer was very pleasant with plenty of both cask and keg on offer. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. A superb place to let an hour or two slip by to the accompanyment of the trains sliding past on the adjacent tracks. Thoroughly recommended!

The Pembroke Castle📍150 Gloucester Ave, Primrose Hill, London, NW1 8JA🚇 Chalk Farm🍺 £5.05❤️ I was having a meander around Primrose Hill on a Sunday afternoon and decided to pop in to the @pembrokecastle for a swift one before heading home. The first thing you notice in here is the unusually high bar, I felt like I was in a sketch from Little Britain “Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune”. Having said that it’s a beautiful bar with a traditional look and feel and if you like stained glass windows in a boozer like I do, there’s a nice big one to the left if the bar. The pub was reasonably busy with most punters glued to the cricket on the screens dotted around the place. The atmosphere here was very relaxed and chilled which is what you want for a Sunday afternoon. There’s also a nice sized tidy beer garden on the side to while away on sunny day. The pub hosts regular comedy nights which are held upstairs for those in need of a laugh. The food looked good and reasonably priced and my pint was just over a fiver which was fair enough..Lots of positives to shout about at The Pembroke Castle, it’s a tidy boozer that caters for lots of different punters and if you want to get from it all whilst in London Town, this might be the spot you’re looking for..📊 Information correct on visiting 18/08/19..
