Pesantissimo in Camden

Me as a driver, I can’t thank this place enough on how nicely they have been treating me ,I started taking orders from pesantissimo since the first lockdown ,the staff is always friendly and very fast given up the orders to the riders. I remember once in the winter time, the owner offered me and a few other riders that were outside, waiting for their orders, hot tea and I think that’s what made me have respect for this place .They are very efficient and hard working and wanted to say a massive thank you for the discount I always get when I order your lively food and for letting me use your facilities (as a lot of place they will not allow just because is for customers as if us the riders we are not humans and potential customers )but anyway I will keep coming in your area as this place brings me a lot of income and I have a family to feed.Thank youSamad

Ordered take away pizza got 50% off which was a nice surprise and it really was the best pizza ive ever eaten,the only other one is in New York lol. I highly recommend you take a visit if you like Italian food the menu looks great going to try something else.

Wow, I've never seen so many mixed reviews!My experience with this place has been okay, but to some degree unsatisfactory and disappointing. I ordered on deliveroo, and I have to say that I was impressed with the portion sizes, the salad was nice and fresh (as was the mozzarella!) which is good.However, I called up the restaurant as I have specific dietary requirements (for some reason deliveroo didn't give me the option to write this there) and also asked for the pasta item to be spaghetti rather than penne. I was told that was absolutely fine and could be done, but when I received it was disappointed to see none of the requirements I asked for had been done. When I called to ask about it they said to just speak to deliveroo...? It was just a disappointing order. If they had said they were unable to meet the requirements over the phone, or had actually did what they said they would, it would have been better.

Food used to be amazing here but they apparently replaced the chef. Now the food is close to not being edible despite the same menu as before. Quality went down the hill. Now sadly I cannot recommend anymore.

Worst restaurant in London. I was served by a blonde lady with short hair and she was absolutely horrible. Me and my partner were left stunned by the way she spoke to her staff and customers speaking down to them.

I wouldn’t consider this place a restaurant. More like a cheap cafe. If you’re looking for a romantic venue then this is not the place for you. The entrance is horrible, there is a long cheap mat on the floor, the lighting is more attuned to a service station and there are no candles. The ambient music was terrible cover versions. The wine was delivered in miniature bottles (187ml) like something from a supermarket that you’d get for £1.50 and was charged at £8.50 you couldn’t help but feel like you were being ripped off. Now the food. Tricolore was served without design. Pretty much dumped on the plate. The ingredients to be fair were ok. The main courses were bland, average home splodge that was edible but no treat. My partner was served a bucket of tender stem and no other vegetable which looked odd on the plate. The people that worked there were nice enough but not that attentive. They were more concerned with their takeaway service and stream of bikers entering the premise at regular intervals in their overalls. Altogether not that stylish an operation and expensive with it.

The quality of the products is below the standard of any chef with self respect. Ordered a variety of food: salad, pasta, pizza, antipasti and a main. The only edible thing was the aubergine with cheese on top. The salami on the pizza had the strongest pork taste of reproductive organs. Horrible experience all in all.

Great pizzas. I wish they had some more midweek offers because a lot of other local options have them in abundance. Lovely area to mooch around and an maybe you can swing by for a pizza after. Good times to be had.

First time ordering from this place and surely not last !Delivery was fast and the food was still piping hot.The salad was amazing and so fresh and tasty.Pizzas were superb!! I totally Recommend the salmon pizza it’s to die for !! The other pizza (vegi pizza) was excellent as well.The only thing I want to point to is that they should have separated the salad from the pizzas for delivery to keep the salad cold.All in all very happy with my order.

We stumbled across this place when we were looking around for a decent place for lunch. Nice, quiet place when we went in but served by only two members of staff at the time. They were good, cheerful and active so we had no complaints in that area. I read some reviews when we were seated and found that the pizza, risotto pollo and tiramisu are tried and tested. I took the risotto and it was good! Big portion, flavorful and well presented. The tiramisu was also a big portion and it was heavenly! Loved it! The ravioli, however, was not that exciting.
