Expected a juicy buttermilk chicken burger, with pickles and fries. 30 minutes later... a Birdseye cajun chicken fillet turned up, stuffed between a bland toasted bun, no pickles, no sauce, and lots of overcooked fries :-(. Not worth the ÂŁ15.5 + service paid. Can't recommend the food here. Although the glass of reisling was top notch.

A great spot in Primrose Hill for a weekend lunch away from the busyness of Regent's Park Road. The Princess of Wales has all the essentials of a good neighbourhood pub including garden BBQs, three floors, outdoor terrace sitting twenty and friendly staff. The food menu is extensive with mains, sandwiches, pizza and salads. The dishes are a notch-up from regular pub food with red wine slow braised beef cheek and black truffle gnocchi leading the pack.

I booked this pub for my civil wedding. We got a large table in the main pub.The staff was very friendly and were taking care of everybody. We had very good food and drinks and the prices are very reasonable. The location is great and the pub is lovely. Even the toilets are so nicely decorated!I'll definitely come back

We booked for a big group and they gave us a nice area downstairs (only problem is that there was no Internet connection down there). Staff was super friendly and attentive. The menu had many types of roasts with vegan/veggie options. I got the salmon roast, which was very good. All dishes seemed good quality (and big size). However it was overall very pricey, ÂŁ18 for a salmon with some veggies is way too much. I would recommend getting the kids roasts, because it is a more reasonable price for a good sizes dish.

It was so delightfully set up for our dinner party. The ambiance just right! The Christmas tree was made up of book! How brilliant The food was delicious and the staff were amazing and very friendly. I had so much fun.

A modern, classy and chic pub ! Mouth-watering food and delicious cocktails. The Lavender Gin Martini is worth a go and the gnocchi was one of the best I've ever had. Others ordered the Korean chicken (yummy crispy) and the Fish and Chips (described as oooof)

My pub to go to when visiting Primrose Hill. We enjoyed our food and drinks.

Popped in for a quick drink and to catch the end of a Euros game (note the pub usually doesn’t have TVs). Top service and a wide range of drinks. Lovely pub inside with huge windows and tables outside as well

A lovely corner pub, in a grand building. A great Island bar with loads of exposed, decorative wood. An excellent menu, both wet and dry. Also does Sunday roasts, always a bonus. The carers behind the bar do a fine job, with good humour and sense of fun. A super place to wander in and enjoy a beer or two.
