"Set in a grand Victorian town-house, Rafkins Lounge Bar Cafe & Restaurant is a part of our 4-star hotel Maitrise Hotel Maida Vale - London which features a lively open-plan kitchen specialising in Italian cuisine & famous for its elegant cocktails. We are open daily from 7 am till 11 pm. We are open for Full English Breakfast as well as Continental Breakfast from 7 am. All day we serve Italian coffee, cakes, pastries, and light snacks. From midday, the Lounge Bar is open for exotic cocktails and Bar food. The dinner starts at 6 pm until 9.30 pm is the last food order. However the Bar stays open till 11 pm. We are positioned ideally to reach marble arch, Oxford Street, Regents Park and Piccadilly Circus in no time."

Currently staying in the hotel, staff are trying to be helpful however I believe they have reach there level of incompetence when a waiter tells you he is not the cook and asks you too speak with the 'chef' directly. Waited 35minutes for a starter in an empty restaurant only for it to arrive with the main. Decided to leave the food there as inedible. The rooms at the hotel need refurbishment and cleaning I have been bitten twice in my room and there are flys just hoveri g around disgusting.

Hidden gem! Great coffee and super comfy chairs. Huge suprise with the foodg. Standard menu but everything is made properly. Great breakfast, decent burger but pasta is particularly well made with strong powerful flavours. Will definitely be eating there regularly.

Italian food seemed different from strereotype other london once’s like pizza express. Drinks are reasonable. The decor is great and quite unique from the shabby Restaurants bed it’s the hotel I stayed.

Being going here for breakfast and dinner for the past 2 weeks and I must admit they good is to die for I was pleasantly surprised! The full English halal option is amazing and the staff make me feel so welcomed. Couldn't recommend this place anymore!! Defo will be back!

Very vibrant and helpful bunch of people. Looks trendy and food is good. Those of u who like modern bars would like it as I personally not fond of sitting in old pubs.

Lovely place for tea/coffee and cake don't know why anyone would go to Starbucks across the road. Only bad point is the cakes can sometimes be stale but staff will exchange it
