Very good place for traditional fish and chips. The fish is very soft and fluffy with really golden breading. Too much for my liking as it absorbs a lot of oil. The chips are great. Thick and crispy as I never seen. Tartar souse is nice but again, too heavy for my liking. It’s a good place to try this traditional meal but rarely heavy. Also worth mentioning that the staff are so welcoming and hospitable.

We went on a Saturday evening and they ran out of everything on the menu except the cod fish and chips and haddock fish and chips. I know people usually just order fish and chips here but we wanted to try a steak and kidney pie. Once the our orders arrived, they told us they ran out of tartar sauce. I honestly wish they just told us straight up, instead of taking our order. Everything was just so dry without the tartar sauce. The chef then told us that they always end up running out of sauce on Saturday because it is so busy. Shouldn't that be a sign that they need to make a lot more? Every single person sitting in the restaurant did not have tartar sauce. Additionally, we ordered the classic London sides, which include 4 or 5 sides. They took our order incorrectly and we just ended up getting a pickle.

Let me first say the large haddock and chips my friend and I had was very nice. The batter was crispy and the chips were not too fatty. Complements to the chef, as we made at the time.Nonetheless, eating in at £20 for each meal, was far, far too expensive. We ordered a large haddock, £4 more than the regular, but it was about the same size if not smaller than a regular cod. This place is overpriced. The surrounding area does equivalent, no doubt, with peas, for £15-18, or as low as £13 in one place. Will not be coming back. However, I will say takeawayprices were entirely reasonable.

Very tasty fish and chips. The chips tasted cooked differently to me. Not bad, just a different taste and texture. The Cod was very good with a great battered shell.

Proboubly one of the best fish and chipa you can get in London 😌 Everything was clean. Chips was chrunchy. Cod was fresh, the owner explained to us about the tricks how he gets it to his store in a very short time. Below picture of him. He started frying fish when he was 6. What a legend! Definitely coming back 😎

Nice outdoor seating, relaxed atmosphere but great fish and chips. Service was fast and friendly too! Get the coleslaw with the fish and chips. You won’t regret it.

Little gem of a place. Nice outdoor area for those wanting to sit out. Little off the beaten path but I went here based on the recommendation from Jamie the walking tour host. Nice proper chunky chips. Everywhere in London has gone all McDonald's skinny chips....so not my thing. Will return next time I'm in London

A little gem with outdoor seating near Covent Garden.

Great fish, average chips. But amazing, friendly staff and really nice place to have food. Just please improve on potato chips quality! Thanks

Love this fish and chips! Lovely fresh fish and chunky chips just the way it's supposed to be. I think it's the only time I'm able to eat all the batter without feeling sick from oil. Amazing place highly recommend!
