Ok the good things: Amazing ambiance and top notch service, perfect if you are having a date, I can see why the place is so popular and so hard to get a seat. Not so good part: So so disappointed at the food, the opposite of authentic, probably the worst Japanese food I have had in London, ok not the sushi rolls-they are exquisite, but the robatas, if you like buffalo wings getting some yuzu sauce squeezed on and grilled to dry and hard to chew then you might like it. Or if you like takeaway salty pork ribs being nicely decorated and put in a high end restaurant ambience you will like here as well. The food looks very pretty though, makes a good photo.

It’s one of my favourite restaurant in London. I enjoy everything, top food, nice wine list and perfect and nice service. Thank you. 😍

Pre booked for a birthday meal tasting menu on 19th Feb. Arriving before there was a door person, the wooden door entrance (next to a locked glass door) wasn’t clear and we were scoffed at by the cloakroom attendant which wasn’t a great start.Due to a price change in the past two months on the website there was constant confusion over the booking code and price of our meal. We had to ask for our drinks 20mins after ordering and remind them to bring out the prawn course before dessert as it was forgotten.Although the main waitress was very friendly we were served by at least 5 different people over 1.5 hours which seemed to add to the chaos. The couple on the table next to us had to ask for 2 items to be removed from their bill which they hadn’t ordered. All of the food was delicious but the service really took the edge off what was meant to be a special occasion.

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere, they always have a great service as well. If you never been in there try to get a table as soon as possible. Normally I don’t like chain restaurants but Roka is on the different page. They have quite good menu, their sushi worth to try with nice saki. If you don’t like sushi they have many options. Long story short they definitely worth to try.

We went for a celebratory dinner on a Saturday night. The choice of food is pretty overwhelming so we looked at the tasting menus. We were disappointed that the two menus both contained meat dishes, but we asked and they happily replaced them with alternatives for our pescatarian guest, leaving the meat for the more carnivorous among us.There was a huge selection of dishes, all of them really tasty. Food is backed by a decent wine and sake selection. The atmosphere was lively and fun, without being too noisy to hear ourselves talk across the table. We had a great evening and will definitely be back soon

Extremely nice place, worthy the visit. Food is very good and cocktails are sublime. The ice for the drinks is carved from an huge block of extremely transparent ice and just like that used in the cocktails. Definitely a scenic place with impeccable design. Higly suggested for a date to remember.Of course is not cheap.

The food was good quality, the sashimi was delicious and our maki rolls were also lovely. The waiter had great recommendations for cocktails. However the tables were crammed together, leaving no room for privacy being able to hear everyone's conversation. I would expect a nicer restaurant layout especially considering price, which was definitely overpriced for what we had.

Excellent food and service in a comfortable setting. Each dish is prepared with a lot of care and attention to detail. The wine list is also very good if a little on the dear side. Our only issue was with the dance music playing over the sound system, which might not create the atmosphere some people want but it wasn't too distracting.

I can't recommend the tasting menu highly enough. The sashimi was incredible but the highlight must be the prawns. We were unsure of which wine to pick with a tasting menu but helped tremendously by the sommelier. Will definitely return.
