Great place for the rugby, very friendly and lovely staff. A perfect example of a classic British pub. They also do Thai food but I can't comment on that as I didn't try it but it smelt very nice!

Avoid at all costs - worst experienceIt is with true sadness that I am writing this. I attended the pub last Saturday (Saturday 5th February 2022) and I encountered the most attrocious customer services and was left in tears. My friend and myself were not rude in the slightest, not aggressive etc but treated in the most aggressive, condescending way by the bar manager. It came across as male chauvinism towards 2 ladies who were doing anything wrong. Ok the pub was really busy with the rugby but we were patiently waiting at the bar for more than 20/25 minutes to be served drinks and food. Yes we were getting frustrated but there was no need for the extreme rudeness from the bar manager, he took a complete dislike to us and appeared to be on some of a power trip. He claimed that people had been waiting since 1:30pm to be served. Really? It was gone 6:30pm! I have bells palsey and a neurological disease, is this how he treats people with disabilities. To top it the bar manager then shouted at us us to leave and that he was not going to serve "us as he had heard us shouting and moaning over the other side of the bar" Complete lie! Over the noise and the rugby? We were not shouting. We had to miss out on our event in the function room because of the bar manager. This was completely unacceptable. If I could leave minus stars i would.

We'll run old school London pub. Great selection of cask ales from Shepherds Name. Slightly off the beaten track but worth the effort to find.

Good, comfortable and traditional pub. Food rather bland but drinks choice excellent. Terrific bar staff.

Amazing little place. The staff were friendly and keen to make everything as amazing as they could. A really good selection of beers and ales too! The outside section was also one of the best I've been in, lush little trees to sit under. Would definitely go back!

A good local pub for the locals of Holborn, London. It’s a Shepherd Neame pub so you can be assured of quality and a good range of ales.Thai food never seems to go too well with pub style atmosphere and drinks, but it’s what’s on offer according to the website.

A lovely pub, with a selection of drinks that will satisfy all customers. In addition to the ample seating inside, the outside area provides a lovely place for spending a warm day. The Thai food is tasty and the Landlord always friendly and welcoming.
