A good, down to earth place to relax and work during the day.

Beautiful place. Sat on the cute and quiet back garden and had a nice Mocha with a tasty Tomato, Cheese, & Basil Sandwich.I enjoyed the place👌

Incredibly disappointing. Ordered American pancakes and asked waiter:’are they homemade?’ The waiter said ’yes of course’. Next thing I know, I get a plate of pancakes that are obviously store bought pancakes (like the Tesco/Sainsburys ones) which have been put on the griddle and heated and then covered in more syrup. They were disgusting. At £10.95 for 5 mini pancakes that have been sold as homemade one, I will not set foot in here again. Shame on you!

Looked interesting from outside so had to pop in for hot chocolate and cakeVery warm welcome; Bohemian but not pretentious vibe.Seating more comfortable than first appeared (tatty)Proper, delicious Italian hot chocolate, but banana bread was not good; stodgy and unpleasant. Will have to try the other home-made cakes another time and hope they're a bit better than what I had today

A cosy, homely atmosphere and friendly staff. I love smaller, independent places like this. Some beautiful artwork and second-hand books. Really fast service too. I had a perfect latte and croisant with strawberry jam. Will be back. 🙂☕🍓🥐

Interesting place! Very close to Tufnell Park station on the northern line with a small terrace garden out back. The food was very nice, though my baguette could maybe have come with a side salad garnish, but just a thought. It was very tasty and I'd come again. The goats cheese salad also looked great.

He said it is his ideal home and he would like to share with people. Now near 20 years passed, many changes happened in this area, but this coffee shop still stay the same, like old friends. As the owner said to me, this coffee shop is his ideal home, good tea and coffee, fresh homemade food, warm wall color, lots of books, a garden where people could just sit in to enjoy the peace or be in a daze calmly.Staff Friendliness: Very welcoming, friendly, and smiley.Cost:Coffee £1.7-£3.95Tea £1.95-£3.55Cakes £3.20-£4.65 (The whole cake is £40!)Food £4.95-£9.8Something Special About the Cafe:The vibe is comfy and laid-back, as well as a little quirky, but the owners and the staff are really nice to customers; It is a good place to stay longer, even though you just order a coffee, they will not mind;Problems:The coffee is good, but food and cakes are average and overpriced for what you get.

This cozy literary cafe is one of my favourite places so far! :)The atmosphere is friendly and serene, while the nice classical music in background helps you relax while reading a book, studying, working with your laptop, or simply enjoying a moment with a friend. Many paintings to support local artists are exposed on the walls, while the shelves are full of books from a local bookshop. The food is also tasty and nice, and it is both possible to have lunch/dinner with their freshly prepared meals, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while tasting a cookie or a piece of cake.I really appreciate this place, its welcoming owner and its lovely atmosphere, and I would recommend it no doubts.
