Sagar Vegetarian Westend/Soho Restaraunt in Camden

Great choice for vegans/ vegetarians in London. Lots of choice. Excellent food. Excellent service. Loved all the food but would definitely recommend the dosa 😍.

The food was ok, pricey but that's I guess because of the location as well. We had several dishes and we liked some more then others. I would rate it somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.

Order through Delivroo and not happy. Vegetable Kurma was excessive salty. Vegetable Fried rice was also bad with too much vinegar in it. Disappointed with the order

Very pleasant place and nice ambience complemented by old songs of great singers like Bala Subhramaniam. Food was fresh n tasty , very similar to the taste that I had in Bangalore, India. Dishes are authentic. I will go there again.

Main thing - the flavours are tasty and refined.For Central London, it's actually reasonably priced.The curries and sambar: great. The lemon rice: smooth - could enjoy that on it's own.

Great service. Staff were helpful, friendly and non intrusive, especially Ali! Food was absolutely amazing, next level delicious! Great vegan options which were clearly labelled in the menu! Prices for central London were extremely reasonable! We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in town!! Highly recommended!Sadly on a second visit food was not great at all! Dosa burnt, potato masala lacking flavour. Vegetable dish was only onion and £6!! And service were not interested in assisting on a disappointing meal! Sorry but won't be back!!

Have no idea how the food is.I usually visit Sagar in Covent Garden, food and service are excellent. No matter how busy the resturant is, staff always make it to point to greet us and take it orders.I was hoping similar environment at Sagar West End. Service in West End was not so great.We visited on a Saturday at around 4pm. There were not more than 6 people in the restaurant including us. My husband and I waited for 20 mins to place our order and nobody cared enough to pay us any attention.One of the staff member was on phone for all twenty mins we were seated and was having a discussion. Not sure about the content of the conversation. Hoping he was trying to solve some issue.All we expected was an acknowledgement of our existence , which we never received 😊

I’ve been here many times before as the entire menu is vegetarian. I love the food and there is a great choice! If you’re vegan you can ask for the items that are suitable and the staff are always happy to help. I went back last week and I was still very impressed. I’m sure I’ll be back many more times in future.

I've been here lots of times and it's reliable and yummy. Nearly always quiet when I go, maybe one of two other customers. The food was hot and delicious. We really like having an entire menu to choose from and not just an after thought. Recommended

Recommend! Good food for a very decent price.I had lunch with two of my friends and we've all enjoyed our time here.We've had Pappadoms and they were perfectly crisp and (thankfully) not greasy. The vegetable curry had a lovely creamy texture and was rich in flavour. The okra was well cooked and had a good texture but could've had slightly more seasoning. The Dosa was to the point, nicely seasoned with a soft, yet again not greasy, consistency. All dishes were a very generous helping for a very decent and absolutely justified price.The waiter was quick yet a bit reserved which might come across a bit unfriendly. The interior is kept simple, which is okey for lunch time, but overall it makes a kind of harsh impression and might not appear to be inviting if someone wanted to go out for a nice dinner.The choices on the menu are manifold and I will certainly go back to try them.
